Bangladesh score prediction: 1st Test against India
I still feel Bangladesh has what it takes to score above 400, but if there is a superhuman effort from one of Tamim, Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur or Shakib we may reach 500. But 400 on this pitch should be gettable by the current squad and it may not be enough to save the follow on. We need to score an excess of 600, which will take us to day 4, and push India for a draw because then they will probably declare around 270/280 on Day 5, which may be enough for us to draw the match or even chase it down.
But the best chance for us to come close to a draw or a win, is to score heavily in the first innings, when the pitch is best for batting. By day 3 it should start turning, and by day 4 it may turn a lot, so we need to score about 350 runs tomorrow, and keep 5 wickets in hand, atleast. It still looks like a very good pitch to bat on with no turn offered to the spinners. What approach should Bangladesh take from now onwards?

1st innings: 120
2nd innings: 237
3rd Innings: 173/9 1 retired hurt (didn't come to bat due to peter bimaar/diarrhea)
Wish we could play a 4th innings...but 3 and a half days are over and it's time to check out of the hotel
Mushfiqur at the press conference at Hazrat Shahjalal..."winning is not important, participation is more important...to take the exam is more honorable, fail (dabba) is not mui importante...if we were given the opportunity to bat 5 innings we would have definitely beaten India (India's single innings)...we were this close..."

We shouldn't lose any more than 2-3 wickets to this seam attack. Even that is too many.
Won't mind if Ash and jaddu take all 9 wickets, provided we avoid the follow on.
We'll have to see how the pitch behaves on day 3. Hopefully it wont start turning till midday day 4.

I think bd will score 400ish. Its all depends on partership.2 batsmen need to make a 100 and rest chip in. If top 4 fails may be 300 and we ll loose the game.2nd innigs wont be easy.
Side note; kayes is more suited than Sarkar in this conditions.

Still better than 2007 test in Dhaka.
India 620-3
BD 150 and 250
Probably the most lopsided Test in history.

I dont care about score. This match is destined for a loss. I just want to see some fight. Show me you care about your fans and your country, you over pampered lazy bums.

1st innings 220 all out
2nd innings 160 all out
Also, it's going to be a pathetic display of batting in terms of concentration and application, we would see silly run outs, getting out while trying to flick ball down the leg side, sudden down the pitch movement to get stumped etc.
After 17 years of test cricket, sadly the mental state of the cricketers is still stuck in the 90s.. Nobody expects the team to win against India in their condition but the way the team is messing up the basics is unforgivable (missing easy run outs, missed stumping opportunity, not standing at a right distance in slips and thus missing catching opportunity etc.)

Sir Mushfiqur and banglar jaan are in the crease now, if either of these two give their wicket away soon we wont even cross 230! if they can get a partnership going we might just be lucky to sniff close to the 300 mark ...

Looks Tanvir's guess.might be the closest.one after all.
At least we will most likely avoid an innings defeat.
Mushy needs to remain not out...he always saves his best for India! Mehedi needs to play for a ton if he can survive that long...would do his confidence really well.
