At first I was very tentative about this Group. I must admit, boys have made a success of it. We had 19 members during CT, couple left. Now we are 16 members, couple of those who left the group after CT rejoined again. Must thank the boys for making this group work out. I think more will join ahead of Australia/SA series. I have been here a very long time (13yrs). Did silly things, got punished.

Now been given another chance, which I am grateful for.

BC Whatsapp Group went crazy a week ago. There are certain things which Rinathq can't include in his article, some of the things he said was cringe worthy and disgusting to hear.

BC WhatsApp Group seem to be more active than BanglaCricket.

Topics discussed so far - would love more to join.

- Domestic structure (use of small number of stadiums)
- Players setting a ceiling for next generation of cricketers.
- Future captain of Bangladesh
- Bowlers underperformance, especially pacers + Walsh.
- Rinathq meeting with Isam and sharing some of the unpublishable issues.

^ this was only the last week.. before that spoke different topics.

Once again, feel free to join.
The members are very friendly and have amazing cricketing knowledge, passion and love for BD cricket.

It can only be allowed if it is actual official group controlled by admin mod of this site in my opinion ...

Otherwise u shouldn't use banglacricket name nor u should be allowed to take members from here / advertise here

Exactly. It should be controlled by admin/mod. I offered them the chance. Sent all of them the message prior to opening the thread. Got responce saying they won't be part of the group. However, I can go ahead open the thread. Only after I received the go-ahead, I opened the thread. At the moment, the BC users that are taking part making a real success of it, and it was very very useful for CT17. I see the group name has changed after or just prior to your post, hmm. Anyways hopefully more members will join, remember it's not compulsory to join - people are using different ways of communication to stay in touch of cricket, things are moving fast. People are moving towards Twitter, Whatsapp etc amongst others.

Why you flaming after me bro? Where did you see advertisement? When I was saying there are certain things which Rinathq can't include in his article becuase it's unpublishable. We found out in the Whatsapp Group and some of us were shocked. You are running wild after me, and if mods are still not seeing the trend, than you do have some special power. But I'm sure I will be the one getting the warning. Even after putting you on ignore list you have been coming after me.

No one is going after you ..I just think your group advertisement shouldnt be allowed here ...

And the fact that u are writing about something "that can not be published/or put in the forum" you're exercising extremely poor judgement because the intervieweee is likely reading this thread and will not appreciate this or give any future inside info ...

And because of that any group where u are the admin or is part of i wouldn't want to be a part of

When you put someone on ignore list and they quote you, than the ignore function doesn't work, and the post becomes visible. When I first posted, you couldn't see my post. However, somehow you were able to quote me, by pressing the view post button. Why did you do that when you can see your on the Ignore list? Do you realise you are after me? No one complained about the Whatsapp Group, the thread was up nearly 3-4 months at BC, but you were the first? You keep going after people, and when people respond angrily they get banned, who wouldn't respond angrily when you keep going after them? But you go on with your way of posting and the others that respond angrily get taken out of existence.

We have no problems if members want to meet up outside the confines of the Forum and discuss cricket. However idumb makes a good point about stating clearly that this is not an official group.

@sportingbd we did receive your invite but i don't think anyone from the mod team wants the additional excitement of "real time chat moderation" at the moment. When we do, we might create an Official social media group on whatsapp ourselves.

That being said, all the best to your private group which seems to have many members already.
