What is in their heads?
When the Bangladeshi cricketers returned to their rooms at the Hotel Taj Samudra on Wednesday night, everyone was holding a piece of paper provided by the team management.

The questions were what the players think ahead of a match and what runs in a batsman's mind when one starts walking from the dressing room toward the crease

Don't know if that questionnaire will work. I would like to see one on one consultation to instill some self belief and maybe address some basic issues the batsmen are facing!

I really think that we should stop critcising our players and support them instead. We have been in international cricket for 5 years. U cannot compare us with others teams who have been playing for decades. It's very frustrating but we must give them space and we immediately need a bowling coach. Duncan Fletcher took over England in 1999. They finally showed result in 2005 by beating Aus. It took them six years to finally develop a good team. In a few more years, hopefully Bangladesh will do the same.

by using gobor they will be like super team in six years!!!!
I didn't know that thier gobor is so fertile...all they know is to use it for sleep, eat, do some practice in the morning, go to relatives houses for biriyani and think about "fair lady" all day long. Remember, once in Pakistan Bashar and Javed scored runs because according to Bashar BCCB let them take their wives!!!
Our captain has the best gobor brain and smile that he thinks he and his team can beat anybody in any given day if things fall into pieces. I guess He wanted all the gobors to act together so that it becomes more fertile.

I dont know what is in their heads but...
They should look at Test matches at a new dimension,
What should be in their head now is The Ground Records for P. Sara Stadium is in huge favor of even out of form batsmen. The last test match was played with NZ in 2003 and they humbled a series draw with a 515 which was followed by Srilanka by 483, as the pitch went slower Vettori was able to wrap up the tail quickly.
Then NZ declared for a draw with 5 wickets in hand.
First inning stat for Murali is disappointing 140 for 2 while in second innings he made 3 break throughs but NZ kept up their tenacity.
Vaas only earned 1 wicket but he was played with much respect by Kiwi batsmen as he did not give away too many runs in either of his spells.
Can we be like this Kiwi team once!?
FOR ONCE?

Folks, in any games, bad things happen. Just look at Zimbabwe. Someone was praising them in this forum, how bravely they are playing with India. And now look at them. 5 down for 16 runs, struggling just like we did.
In our team, we have several players made Century while many did half-Century. It’s not a bad team. Someone needs to keep them reminding that this is a 5-days Test match and not an ODI. Our batsmen must get out from this ODI mentality while playing Test matches.

The piece of paper ought to contain excerpts from Sun Tzu's The Art of War e.g:
"avail yourself also of any helpful circumstances over and beyond the ordinary rules."
"According as circumstances are favorable, one should modify one's plans."
"If he is taking his ease, give him no rest."
"Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected."
"Now the general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought. The general who loses a battle makes but few calculations beforehand. Thus do many calculations lead to victory, and few calculations to defeat"
".. when seeking to determine the military conditions, let them be made the basis of a comparison, in this wise:--
(1) Which of the two sovereigns is imbued with the Moral law?
(2) Which of the two generals has most ability?
(3) With whom lie the advantages derived from Heaven and Earth?
(4) On which side is discipline most rigorously enforced?
(5) Which army is stronger?
(6) On which side are officers and men more highly trained?
(7) In which army is there the greater constancy both in reward and punishment?
By means of these seven considerations I can forecast victory or defeat."
etc..

The Questionnaire will help the management. One-on-One will help the players. If possible while grafting strategy, batsmen can group together and bowlers can group together watch tapes and give tips to each other; On the pitch, the weather and how it may effect, how to attack/defend murali and co. how to use the wind etc. The communication should be both ways. The managment must listen to the players of they have to say.
