If Sarkar opens, Imrul is 3rd and Momin is 4th? This is just bizarre.

I voted Bangladesh to win.

But most likely it will be a draw, if the weather forecast is correct.

I know!

I think TI and Imu should open, then Monin, Mushy, Shak, Sarker, Shabbir, Nasir, Miraz and so on...

"There is no way we will play safe cricket," Mushy said. He's really making me nervous.

"Apart from Shakib and Tamim, the rest of the line-up couldn't give even 90% input," Musy said. I though Miraz and Taijul were excellent. WTF is he talking about?

He's blinded by success. He doesn't wanna be complacent.

Come'on guys. He simply means we will go out there with winning mindset instead of a planning to draw as we have done previously. He doesn't mean he will play "ura-dhura" cricket throwing away wickets. And Isam had to pick up on that huh? smh... He could've easily highlighted the fact just because we won doesn't mean we can't improve.

Instead listen to the Unplayable Podcast here.

Much better and balanced quality of discussion.

My lineup based on latest info:

1. Tamim
2. Soumya
3. Mominul
4. Mushy
5. Shakib the Magnificent
6. Liton (WK)
7. Sabbir
8. Mehedi
9. Nasir
10. Taijul
11. Mustafizur[/QUOTE]

Report says Sarkar was working on his pace game, so expect only Fizz with Shfiul dropped for Momin. Dropping a 30 year old inconsistent Imrul for a 22 year old Liton is a no brainer for me.

One should never take Mushy's off-field view points seriously.
We all know what kind of IQ he has.
Let him say whatever he wants, we shouldn't dig to much into it!

Lets enjoy the match.. everyone!!!

Well I hope Mushfiq sticks to his words, we have seen how he goes into his shell when the opposition counter-attacks.

^^ which Australia are planning to do. They look to have a deep batting order for this match.

Might be difficult to bowl them out here.

I can't emphasize this enough: Players other than Tamim and Shakib MUST step up in order for Bangladesh to win. Chittagong pitch is more sporting than Dhaka pitch so we shouldn't feel safe with a lowish target(which Australia almost chased down last match)

O keefe is playing so we should replace one right hand batsmen with left hander.. mominul.. and the batsmen to be replaced could be shafiul (his contribution was more of a batsman than bowler in last test) but I would ideally want also mosaddek in place of shabbir

I wonder where mominul will be slotted in if he is in the playing IX replacing one of the pacers... Dont want to make a military of four lefties in the top...

This team instantly became crap the minute shafiul entered the scene

Good team otherwise

You have to play either Shaiful or Taskin. I just don't like Taskin in our test XI.
Or the other option is play Soumya as part time seamer and Fizz!
But this is scary knowing that Fizz aint his normal self.

Hence two genuine pacer needed. If Taskin play's, good luck to him.
If I had to pick one, I would pick Shafiul, at least can add some value runs down the order, even if its 10+ runs..
