We all want our respective teams to win. However, when the game is done and dusted we should have the humility to rejoice in the joys of others! This is exactly what we Lankans did on this forum the day before the SL vs. Ban match when there were so many threads that came up which clearly depicted the unrealistic nature of your expectations!
But we realised where you guys were coming from and we knew that the BD fans were euphoric after your big win over the Indians. Therefore, even while you guys were planning to have us for B’fast all we did was just indulge in some good-natured light-hearted banter rather than abuse you like others would have done for sure! A few years ago, we were where you are now and therefore we understand the reasons for your joy and anticipation!
However on a final note I suggest that you take a step down from the pedestal that you have placed yourself in and leave all the emotional crap aside, stop grumbling and enjoy what this great game of cricket has to offer, be it to do with your team and it’s players or some other team and their players!
You should be ashamed of yourself if you are not!
A team needs the backing of their fans more than ever when they are down rather than when they are winning!
That my friend is common sense and not something that you should be awarded a medal for!
