"Bangladesh to fight hard at Lord's " writes two 14 year old kids from England

St Paul's Way Community School, in London, is this week involved in a project with the BBC to help promote the England-Bangladesh Test series.
We asked some pupils to have a go at writing about the Test match coming up at Lord's on Thursday and here we publish the winning entry.

Age 14

This is the first Test match in England at Lord's for the Bangladesh team, who arrived in the country on 7 May.
The Bangladeshis have been playing cricket with English county teams, the first match was with the British Universities. They drew with the Universities in Cambridge.

The second match was against Sussex, which they lost. Their final match was against Northampton, which they also drew.

GENERAL PREDICTIONS
The biggest chance of overall winners is England. However, Bangladesh will not go down without a fight.

Young talent Mushfiqur Rahim has proved himself with some good scores against the counties. Players like Michael Vaughan, England captain, is confident though, and he thinks that they will win.

THE STARS
The Bangladesh superstar is Mohammad Rafique. He is ranked seventh in the world rankings, and is seen as a talent throughout the years. He has a dangerous 45-degree left-arm spin.

Mohammad Ashraful made 113 runs for Bangladesh against Sri Lanka when aged 16. He is the youngest ever player to make that amount of runs.

Enamul Haque made history when he took six wickets against Zimbabwe. With 22.2 overs, five maidens, and figures of 6-45, he was Man of the Match in Bangladesh's first Test win in January.

BANGLADESH HISTORY
In the 1999 World Cup, Bangladesh made history when they won their first ever one-day match against Pakistan. After, they became a Test nation for the first time.

Last December, in the match against India, they won their first ever match in Bangladesh. They made 229-9, and India were 214 all out

THOUGHTS ON THE NATWEST SERIES
We think the overall winners will be Australia because they have a strong team and they have the best batsmen and bowlers.

England have never lost without putting up a fight, so most probably they will end up runners-up. Bangladesh, unfortunately, will not win.

But it is anyone's game, and with the teams hotting up, there will only be one winner.
