SL needs 70 in 87 balls. Doable.
India needs 111 in 72. Not following it, but no doubt India will show how a typical T20 hard hitting will win their match.

England is currently #1 ranking team in T20I, yet on Dubai they turned out to be dudh-bhat for India. It will be a huge upset if any team besides India or Pakistan win this trophy.

PNG batting is as good as ours, if you go by the number of runs against Scotland.

But why though...?
Why is it that Indians and in general Sri Lankans and Pakistanis can muster a 55 odd 22 target easily yet our boys seem to %$^ their pants? Is it because of mental attitude or lack of hard hitters or just plain not practising slogging enough? How hard is it to have a sweep session like the Scots yet just straight slog for 4 hours straight isolating that single component? I really don't get it. Or is it lack of our talents not converting: such as Chokka Naeem, Zia, Nasir et al?
I genuinely want to know... not being facetitous. Cuz a lower order hard hitting batsma/en is a NECESSARY component in T20 if not modern ODI....

^^to answer Z's question:
It's very difficult to develop power hitters on two-paced wickets like Mirpur. BCB don't want to hear about it, even fined players and coaches for speaking out about it in past. They're rather focused on getting easy wins, improving team rankings - to make themselves look good.
Captain Riyad, the way he's, has also been very happy with cheap glories that came his way (or not to make his son cry whenever he loses, according to him). Tamim is the only senior player who spoke out against Mirpur pitch at past, as well after the last home series.
If BCB really care to improve our T20I team, they need to get away from Mirpur, for both home and domestic matches. We got much better pitches on Sylhet, Rajshahi, or even Chittagong.

BCB should have arranged matches in different pitches. We are pretty much out from this WC. Oman will win against Scottland. Will there be one or two teams going from qualifier?

^^ Two teams from each group will qualify. So our hopes are pretty much alive as long we beat PNG with a good enough margin in next match. Matter of fact, we will be still seeded as B1 in Super league, even if we qualify as group runners up.

apparently there is a change recently. So BD is NOT being being seeding as B1 regardless. this creates a problem for the fans who purchased tickets. So random.

The original rule made perfect sense. Otherwise, SRL and BAN would be in the same group AUS, SA, WI, Eng, which is ridiculous.

Like you, I was hoping a desert storm would intervene to prevent the other massacre from taking place. Now we can see the weather gods clearly decided to sit this one out

Quinton DK is an idiot and dug his own grave. I don't see how this will help him with his cricket career. I personally think taking a knee is quite pointless but to show support, I would take it. This guy is going to have to come out and explain why he thinks taking a knee is against his belief. What an idiot!
Cpl might not want to sign him, IPL might also want to leave him out fearing backslash ...

Politics should be far away from sports.
That guy who was killed in the US was not an angel. He was a multi-offence criminal. The only issue was the heavy handed handling by the police. Blame things on how US police work. Some blacks decided to turn into a 'I am black, that's why this happened' crap. What about the crimes that blacks commit or are engaged in in the US despite being only 13% of thew population?
If an Indian gets killed in the US, are we all Asians going to have an Asian lives matter bs ? Thought not.

^ not saying politics should be a part of the game.vi am against any form of politics and sport mixing hence am not a fan of these take a knee during sport events. However, why in the world would you want to sabotage your career. Get on with the knee and talk to your board after th world cup is done.
