My Radio Interview with cricketclub.co.nz
Well, I just had my first taste of radio folks. Last night I was invited to a chat show with John Morrison at http://www.cricketclub.co.nz. From Wellington, New Zealand.
Exciting. Despite some hiccups with name, sound problems I think it went all fine but very very fast.
First the radio technician called 5 minutes before, at 1 am, and set up the line. So then John (the host) said hello, there was also Dayle Hadlee there in the studio. He was in Dhaka during their last match there with Pakistan. He is Richard Hadlee's brother. Anyway, in short, they were talking about how Dhaka was then and his experiences.
- John started off with a question about the 2 venues and i gave a short briefing on what to expect. Our strategy and about keeping the wickets intact.
-Another question was about Banglacricket and what we do here. So I told them about how this place is run by volunteers and the huge number of fans who get here during match time. (he was browsing as we spoke)
- He concluded the session by wondering how we fans cope with these losses. So I pointed out "hope". And how not to be disappointed as the juniors need time to improve, above all, if they follow Dave's step by step improvements we will eventually win.
Again since I don't do this sort of stuff regularly I guess I was definetely a bit scratchy. Next time Inshallah will improve.

Hmm.. very interesting and I'm really curious!
Oracle bhai.. it must feel amazing to be in such a representetive role!.. no word of appriciation is enough I guess!
can you pls share any audio stream of the interview?
And if that is not possible for some reason.. pls write some more detail about the interview.. so we can know how it was and also.. how it started in the first place.
(I mean how they made contact with u and what is the general Impression about BD cricket out there..)

Congrats Oracle..! (& the rest of the BC volunteers)
It's about time that the cricketing world takes notice of this great site.
Well, first BBC, now NZ...I've a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg
This gotta be the hands down, the best fan run, all volunteer-crew cricket board on the net!!
Yet another feather in BC's cap..!!

I am thrilled. BC is coming under focus from many outsiders, and they are recognizing our site as a genuine and representing Tiger's Den.
Congratulations Oracle.

Well done Oracle. Was it a live interview. This is going to give Banglacricket exposure to NZ and many NZ fans will sign up now. This forum will have a huge number of members in no time. It already has lots. But it will be over the 1000s soon.
