So, between the NZ-Ire tri series and WC games, there are 4 days. I heard players want to come back home for two days, cause it would be 2 month long trip and they would kinda get homesick.

They are in the process of requesting the leave to BCB on tax payers money.

My thing is for the players, why go play WC? Stay home and watch it in TV with replays. Jottoshob.

I see nothing wrong with this. They need the 2 days of r&r so they can mentally prepare for the 2 month vacation coming up. 2 months of traveling the treacherous english country side, not easy folks.

This is not tax payers money. It is the money BCB earns because of the players. They also PAY tax from that money, rather than using tax payers money.

They are going to packing ups with family & kids...I wonder why they need to come back to Bangladesh for couple of days!!?

Just don't understand these players mindset to come back for few days unless mandatory emergency occurs..this is worldcup and once in a lifetime opportunity for some players and for some last worldcup unless otherwise they want free ticket for next one. Many of them got honeymoon for few days why more honemoon is required before worldcup.
