Default Why Sir Habibul Bashar is superior to Sir Don.

Here are few of the numerous records of Sir Qazi that are superior to Sir Don!

1) Sir Qazi has centuries in 3 different countries whereas Don only has in Aus & Eng

2) Sir Qazi has half-centuries in 8 different countries whereas Don only has in Aus & Eng

3) Sir Qazi has more than 2000 Test runs in Asia whereas Don has ZERO!

4) Year-by-year: the difference between Sir Qazi's highest and the lowest average in Test cricket is 39. For Don, it's 372! i.e. Qazi is 10 times more consistent!

5) Sir Qazi has scored more runs than Don has when the team was following on! What a team man ?!

6) Sir Qazi's ave in matches won / ave in matches drawn = 2.62 For Don, that figure is only 1.16! WOW, Sir Qazi what an attacking player ?!

7) Sir Qazi has 3 times more runs in matches lost! WOW! What a lone-warrior ?!

8) Sir Qazi was bowled only 6% of his dismissals and the corresponding figure for Don is a whopping 13%! Sir Qazi! What a technique, compactness?!

9) Sir Qazi has never been out hit wicket! What a balance ?!

10) Sir Qazi has batted at no.3 in more number of innings than Don has! What a consistency!

11) Sir Qazi's ave of 1st team innings is higher than that of 2nd team innings unlike Bradman! What a leader ?!

12) He has more 50s and fewer ducks than Don has as captain! What a charisma ?!

13) He has a duck every 13.29 innings whereas Don has in every 11.43 innings!

14) Overall, Sir Qazi has 24 50s to Don's 13! What a cricketer ?!

PS: Anybody interested in knowing how superior Sir Qazi is in comparison to contemporary mortals Tendlya, Lara and the likes, please leave a note!

I know this is aginst run of play..as we all are thinking of current series..but you never know..Sir kazi might bounce back into the Odi Team.!!!

haha...funny as! funny thread of the week.
normally I get pissed when The Don is compared with anyone...even tendulkar. But this one is so funny...takes a lot of talent to look for the little details like those.Dare u guys who called bulbul_fan bhua to come up with sth better and funnier.

Well done Bulbul_fan. Btw I think Aminul Islam scored more in his first test innings than Don Bradman.

Seriously speaking tho, I don't think Tendulkar is comparable to him, so no question of any other player being comparable.

HaBa and the Don? NO COMPARISON bros !

HaBa is WAYYYY better when it comes to his command of the mother tongue, and commanding the undying loyalty of his apologists.

It was worth to stay up this late and read the comparison. Thank you Bulbulfan. I fear your optimism. I would stop coming to BC if he gets in again from the back door (without the best and significant performance in domestic league).

I will join you !

BTW, NEVER underestimate the insider power of his apologists and the "kiriket wisdom" of our selectors. Keep those fingers crossed.

Thanks bro ...

Where was I?

Not too far from HaBaville but just far enough to avoid the fragrance of his rotting grandeur.

HaBa = Habibul Bashar.

I never liked him even during his best years, a little thing called "personal preference" against compulsive hooking, playing across the line and all the streaky runs in between. If that is "thought crime" as it is to many I'm sure, then I'm glad that I don't live in their Orwellian world where "respect" is dictated and imposed by the sentimentality of a few, rather than actually earned according to individual choice ...

That said, I NEVER wanted him to fail either, a little thing called "patriotic decency".

I never set-out to please everybody, and do not confuse a title there simply because of a pathologically high post-count, with the real thing.
