I voted for Well-Fought Test Matches and at least ONE ODI win. And i believe that anything more than that would mean a fantastic achievement and anything less than that would be disappointing.

Btw, thanks electrequiem.

There are others who would be glad if Test matches are well-fought and there is atleast an ODI wins.
Anything can happen in ODI, and that's why I would expect a win in the ODIs. In Tests, we aren't the underdogs, we're the cats.In that case, I would settle for all the Tests being played till the 5th day.

My expectations for Tests isn't realistic, that's just my wish.

well very little expectation -

test matches:

1. get all the lankan batsman out at least once in one innings of 3 test matches

2. bat 1 full day in any of the six innings

odi's:

score 250+ in any one odi, win or lose does nt matter

if they can achieve this i will take this as an improvement from the last india series where i did nt see them being met.

But they scored 250+ on both ODIs.

Actually...no. Pretty sure syzygy made sure of that to make the India series sound worse than it was...I think they scored 250 in one of them though. But coincidentially not 250+

ahh...250 on the first ODI and 238 on the second. Actually, that doesn't seem that bad at all. After all, we beat India once with a score of 229.

I guess syzygy meant the collapse of our top order?

I'm not expecting much in the tests. Just want the players to TRY on the field, and with ashraful as captain, it shouldnt be too hard right? Innovative field settings and good use of the bowlers. Thats what i want to see. And of course, I'm hoping to see if ashraful and the bangladesh team keep their promise and bat with some common sense.

Little Hope, only +ive could be Ash's learning to be a captain and behave like one.
Otherwise 0-3,0-3.

well I want them to play very well in the test and make Sri Lanka work hard for the win and in ODI hopefully we can win one match if not at least some exciting close ODI matches.

if ash can keep his promise making the tests to go till fifth day onwards, then one draw can be in the plate

frankly i did nt went and checked what bd scored against ind in their last 2 odis. my 250+ expectation is just what i felt bd should score to show some improvement. remember scoring 250 in bd in home conditions is not the same as scoring 250 against sl in sri lanka conditions. so anything above 250 should indeed be marked as an improvement.

yea bd top order has been under-achieving even in odis (lets not get into tests), its their bowlers and lower order batsmen who has shown some fight. my fav is mashrafe mortaza and i believe that guy should have been made the captain (if he gets injured then only let ash / bash look over captaincy) as he leads from the front and tamim iqbal khan should have been in both tests and odis. anyway as i said earlier i woud be happy if bd achieves all the 3 goals i set and it will be an improvement from the last ind series in my eyes.

At least one test draw and ODI win. We should be looking to do more than just put up a fight in test matches and lose anyway. As for ODIs, there is no alternative to victory. We know we can beat any side if the team performs together.
