Here is Sakib again... this time man of the match for his team even though his team lost... this time with bowling he took 5 wickets for 31 runs... also scored 28 runs...
Tamim scored 38 and nabil samad took 3 wickets in this round of premier cricket....

Great news Sadi, thanks for keeping us updated.
Very unusual for a losing team getting the man-of-the-match award unless he plays exceptionally well. Looks like these kids are eager to perform and give it all. Excellent effort.

This kid is really consistent which is a good thing... he is always contributing with either bat or ball.... others from under-19 squad however are not that impressive in the premier cricket so far except maybe tamim who had one good game...

well the 28 was more valuable than it actually sounds, owing to the fact that it was scored off 21 deliveries and, if i'm not mistaken, at a later stage of the innings; and i dont think he's 17. more like 15/16.

Well, in quest of a consistent performer, we can list two names now: Shahriar Nafees and Sakibul Hasan. Of course, we have to wait to see how consistent the can be in international matches.

This is how our young boys performed in the latest round of premier cricket
Sakib Al Hasan 15 (14) 4*2
Musfiqur Rahim 32 (46) 4*2, 6*1
Shamsur Rahman 2 (8)
Nadif Chowdhury 12 (5) 4*2
Dollar Mahmud 24/2
Mehrab Jr 45 (80) 4*6, 6*1
Sirajullah Khadem 27 (28) 4*6 and 23/1
Tamim Iqbal 22 (25) 4*4
Most of the games were shortened because of bad weather.

Nazmul Hossain Milon today scored run-a-ball 66. He did fairly well through out the whole league, with both ball and bat. Don't understand what is keeping him outside the U/19 squad.

Not a good day for under-19. As they prepare for the world cup from next week, it was their last game in Premier cricket. This is how they have done...
Sakib Al Hasan 6 (9) and 4-2-9-0
Mushfiqur Rahim 0 (2)
Tamim Iqbal DNP

Biman Vs Kalabagan
anyone knows the score? City Club's (Taibu's) future is depending on this (super six berth).

Thanks guys, that keeps City Club out of the super six. Sorry for my ignorance but does the other 6 teams (not the super six teams) play each other to determine the standings and which team goes to relegation?

Marshal Ayub today made the third ton of the league, 102 off 82 ball. Can't the selectors include him in place of one of the so many SLA's (namely Nabil Samad)? Marshal is also useful as a leggie.

McInnes mentioned him as a part time leggie. Anyway, this shows the strength of our U/19 team, even the standbys are so good!!

Another drop out from under-19 Nazmus Sadat is also scoring runs in premier cricket. In the latest round, he scored 40+ runs for this club.
