Default BPL5 Match 25-26 | KT vs RR, SS vs ChV | Nov 24

The Chittagong phase starts from tomorrow. A resurgent RR will face KT, while ChV will play their first home match against a struggling SS. ZACS pitch is generally even slower than Mirpur, players will have to make some adjustment here.

In the other news, physio Bayzed declared Fizz fit, he is likely to take the field against CoV on Nov 25.

Slow pitch means that runs will be hard to come by.

It will definitely make life harder for batsmen, especially ones that rely on timing. There are others, like D Smith, that rely more on brute force, who may do better here.

ZACS is generally slower yes. In 09-12 it was sluggish but recently the pitch has been flatter than Dhaka wicket. Last season good amount of runs were scored in CTG.

Despite the complain of 5 foreign players a lot of locals who are making the XI aren't performing.

Nafees Shanto Reza(with bat) mosaddek have been ordinary

Nothing to see here, Mahmudullah a BPL bully but performs an abracadabra in International cricket.

Mahmudullah needs to do more in international T20. Maybe BD needto rethink his batting position. He is better with more time in hand. 4-5 position would suit him. Sabbir at 6.

For me BD T20i XI for the T20i tri series in SL:
Tamim
Soumya
Anamul (keeper)
Shakib
Mahmudullah (Capt)
Sabbir
Ariful
Abul
Miraz
Taskin
Fizz

If Mash comes out of T20i retirement then I’d replace him with Taskin.

Sabbir batting at 6 is just a waste. You can use Ariful for that. Keep Sabbir at 3-4 preferably 4. Heck I would send him to open with the form Soumya is in.

New ball would be too much for sabbir to handle with that mentality he has going hard after anything wide. Even on roads at t20 early few overs, with the shinning new ball isn’t easy to bat.

I don’t get it why players don’t get this tactic on the last ball of the over, you’re a tailender with a big hitter other end. 17.5 you must make sure you swing hard but no singles because you the tailender will be on strike next over. So make sure you get a boundary or no singles. Every ball counts towards the end.

159 the Target. Riders to win. Pitch is flat. KT are 20runs less. IMO.

Gayle-Macc show.... coming up.

I expect 6-7wicket win for my 2nd team.RR.

After Gayle Mcculum.. rangpur is clueless..
If KT getting 2-3 wickets in front they are winning.. although the pitch is flat

Both the big show batsmen failed. Rangpur in trouble.

Lets see what their rest can do.

Must say Abu Jayed is a good wicket taking option T20. Batsmen underestimate him, he has good variety in his bowling. T20 is about variety not 150kph. Faster you bowl without good line and direction, the quicker you will be getting tonked!

Wicket is fine. Ball coming on well. The slower balls bit tricky but nothing malicious.

Don’t know why they are struggling to hit boundaries. This is a flat wicket!
