It's disgusting to hear the Nepalese coach claiming their hard work paid off, while an age cheater (Dipendra Singh), possibly in his mid to late twenties, won the India match single handedly for them

Congrats to Nepal beating India, albeit some questionable age of certain players. I wonder how Indian media is going to react.
Cant umpire or match referees question the age of players?

I don't think there is anything to react tbh, they have defeated our boys fair and square, congratulations to them, these u19 things get very little to no media attention anyways. Even if the said guy is really older than his certificates as many here are suspecting it is actually far more harmful to Nepalese cricket than anything else, there is no shortcut to glory.

In the East Asia region, Hong Kong is actually a better team than Nepal nowadays. Nepal still sneaking by them in age group with their older players.
I agree with Roy - Nepal didn't hurt India. But they are hurting other associates who are putting some genuine effort in development of cricket in their countries.

Nepal, Malaysia should have sent their U-25 team. Then it would become Mano vs Mano.

True that, which is why the associates need to raise this issue to the highest level if they genuinely feel cheated, not BCCI. We get enough hate already, don't want "BCCI bullying poor Nepal" making headlines.

India 189 (32 overs)
Bangladesh 129/2 (21 overs)
Match reduced to 32 overs cause of rain delay.
Come on boys. Pinak is on fire. Some classy shots played.

Wow what a player is this Towhid Hridoy. He flicked an Indian trundler over mid wicket for a classy six. Pure timing.
Forget Saif or Afif, this guy looks the real deal. Got all the shots in the book.
Anyone wishing to see highlights of the match can go to this FB page of Malaysian cricket. They got a cam at the ground.

We won! Into Semis now. Good job young cubs!
At least within the last 2 months of shitty cricket and results, at least found something to cheer about.

Congrats BD.
Hope our boys learn from their mistakes, age group cricket is all about learning after all.

Wow, India lost out a semi place to Nepal, Lanka to Afghanistan! Is this a new age of cricket in Asia?!

I don't doubt that Dipendra Singh may not be younger than 19 but looking at him it is not as egregious as people are making it out to be.
For comparison's sake this is Gianluigi Donnarumma, Italy and Milan goalkeeper, 6'5 and 18 years old
Congratulations to Nepal.

Seems too far fetched TBH, but this will certainly fast track the development of some youngsters and that is about it.

India missing out yes. They left out some key players as I understand it. Still a good result for BD since India on pure numbers can put out 8 sides equivalent to Bangladesh.
But Lanka have lost out to Afghanistan the last several tournaments IIRC. Last Asia Cup and the last WC too or something similar.

BD boys completely outplayed us and deserves every bit of praise that they are receiving. I wish them all the best for the semis. I know I should be disappointed with the result but I am not knowing Dravid is there to guide our boys.
AFG in 10 years will give big teams a run for their money, so pleased to see teams like AFG and Nepal doing well. I want both AFG and Nepal included in the next Asia Cup.
