Fast bowlers are usually seen in pairs but we have seen exceptional cases where a team fields 4 effective pacers , such as England now with Harmi,Hoggard,Flintoff and Jones. Constant and relentless pressure with skills and variation that will always trouble the opposition. Prior to this we had Roberts, Garner,Croft and Holding in West Indies.
If we are serious about mounting serious challenges to any team then we need a bowling coach immediately! Look at England. They have Troy Cooley, whose only job is to coach, among others, Jones. And if you look closely, England have managed the coaching of their players more effectively this time.
For the case of our first few test teams we had high hopes in Masrafee, Manju, Talha and Tapash. But , I think the management has had NO effective coaching development plans in place for rookies or established bowlers in the team. I wonder how long it will take for us to get a group of "4"?
