All the blames goes to the coaches when players dont do well
Its the players responsibility if they score duck or 100 runs its totally their responsibility cos they go out and play not the coach
agreed. Lets have the national team play without ANY coaches until every big and little problem of our domestic structure from school to national level has been resolved.

The high economy rate of Bangladesh has nothing to do with Ian's departure. It is because of the attacking batting of the Aus batsman, mainly Watson, and also because our bowling is not good enough to contain Australians.

Definitely yes. Our bowling improved significantly under him. It's 65-35% now.

I thank him for his service and wish him all the best.
Fullly agreee !!!!! Lets move on. my answer is a "NO"

He should. I see a 'young whatmore' in Ian.

Whatmore coached Sri Lanka in a very critical time of their cricket history. He's a nobody at that time at international cricket, but Sri Lankan board realized his potential.

However, I don't think, a BCB headed by Loitta Kamal would go for Ian as a head coach. But, Ian should definitely give it a try.

So 40 of us want him as head coach and 23 dont want. Its very difficult to comment about a coach unless watching him closely. So its very tough for me to comment about him as specially he was here for only 1 year. But it looked to me he is a good bowling coach atleast he played a practice watch with 4 pacer.

Whatmore has pot belly, Ian's visceral fat is in the rise too (I guess Ian loved the food in BD too much)! So soon Ian will catch Whatmore.

He should. Not being cynical but I think BCB works in a peculiar fasion. On whom they will appoint will be totally unpredictable to say the least and very few knew Pont before he joined the team.. But personally, as I said before, coaches like Ian Pont and Julien should be given a different role.. they are very technical and needed for the future teams. They need to be part of A teams or U-19 teams to groom future stars or build the future technically sound cricketers.. That's my bias!!

Not only does he need to grow his gut and..err..some manboobs, but he also needs to shed the shirt. Like permanently.

Really guys?? Really?? Are you guys that low?? Now we are talking about appearance too?? If I was Ian Pont, then I'd be have this image for ourselves, "Their players are icon of a racist "Gayer & Gayly" product, now their fans are talking about looks and weights and what not!!" Really? Total discrimination! This isn't funny!

Most of you are short, have a big, big bellies from eating all that curry at 2 AM, and have FOBby hair cuts. By the time you are 30, you can't even move around! And you are not an INT Coach either. And you are the one to talk?

Then why don't you guys do that instead of talking about a Professional Coach's appearance, even though you know he comes here all the time??

And while you're at it, stop being a bigot. It's getting very annoying seeing you attack every other user personally on every thread.

/on ignore list.

Personally, I found the "mom" comment to be one of the sharper ones in this thread. Dilscoop ain't humor-challenged, and after calming down a little, must've appreciated that quick stab also. Then again it's the NHL playoffs and I'm all mean in my A-hole mode, especially when last year's history is repeating itself. Kudos to Mods for not acting like the BASKSAL/Martial Law censor board some want them to be. "benevolent dictatorship" is a greater oxymoron than "honorable defeat".

In appreciation of iDumb:
