Fizz is always expensive in his first spell, he literally gets tonked by all teams..but at least he gets wickets. If only we had in-form Taskin for the new ball....

He's supreme in the middle and next level clutch at death though

HIs rookie season he was really tight in the first spell as an opening bowler because he bowled good length or just short of a good length. His problem which I noticed during the Champions trophy is that he bowls too full early on probably trying to swing the ball. But either the ball won't swing or he is unable to swing it and then he gets tonked for bowling half volleys. Once the ball gets older, he reverts to bowling his array of cutters and drops his length back and hence doesn't get smacked as much.

Pakistanis wanted some consolation to not get bowled out!

What I loved was Rubel bowling bouncers and hitting the Pakistanis.

Fizz could have had a 5fer if Lollipop Liton had caught one if I am not mistaken. Also how some of his deliveries didnt hit the stumps or miss the a nick is just bizzare

More than his wickets, what I love is the fact that he is actually searching for swing and seam while bowling with the new ball by pitching it up and I am sure one of the wickets he got against Pakistan by seaming the ball back into a right hander when he normally just goes away with the angle or bowls his cutters. If he can master seam or swing it would be really awesome especially in English conditions. He is becoming a more complete bowler because before he would rarely bowl the bouncers but I am still missing his Yorkers which he used to deliver so efficiently during the Heath Streak Era. He used to bowl a wide yorker and the one on the stumps at pace. I wonder why he doesn't anymore? Think it's because of his injury and fear of getting injured again?

He was outstanding again, he was expensive early but not because he was poor but because he was
Expensive

I know when he came in he was spectacular, but this mustafizur looks a better all round bowler across formats, give him roy and jayed to bowl with in tests and he'll cause havoc, he's seaming and even swinging both ways now, excellent bouncer, his yorkers will return soon with confidence and practice with this action, his pace is picking back up, he was consistently over 135 again, touching 140

Released By Mumbai Indians for 2019 IPL. No one took him as a "trade". Will get a team?

He is banned from playing in T20 leagues by BCB for two years. So he can't play anywhere even if he gets picked.

Good decision by BCB to deny NOC to Fizz, for IPL. We can't afford to let him pick up injury every season playing in foreign leagues. However, BCB should offer him some sort of compensation.

Yeah BCB should at least pay him 75% of whatever he was paid last year by IPL.

Shakib was Number 1 for a week back in 2009..his highest rating was 717 which is also highest by a Bangladeshi ever achieved. Fizz's current rating is 695

Razzak was number 2 in 2010..although his highest ratting was 679

if you want to see all time top 100 best ever rating you can go here http://www.relianceiccrankings.com/alltime/odi/bowling/

shakib is number 82 in this list. Only Bangladeshi entry so far in best ever rating(they only have best ever for test and Odis in batting and bowling)

I don't understand how Jasprit Bumrah is ranked as the #1 ODI bowler in the world. He hasn't done anything what Mustafizur has done.
