Srilanka did not send a rep for post match news conference, is that a one-off incident for WC?

That's just Sri Lanka being Sri Lanka for you.

"Shakib is the 4th batsman to score 4 50+ scores in first 4 innings of a WC. Sidhu (1987), Tendulkar (1996) and Graeme Smith (2007) are the others," says Bharath Seervi. Truly august company!

Also, 6000 runs for SHak Man

Was it because they beat PAK handsomely?

But wait, we beat SAF too who are much higher positioned. This link seems fake.

46.5 Naib to Morgan, SIX, that's the record for Morgan, 17th six of the innings - most by any batsman, length delivery outside off and he wasn't letting it go - gets underneath the length ball and clubs it flat and into the ropes - hits it on the full and Old Trafford is up in delight
Most 6's in innings now belongs to Morgan...

Iceland Cricket so called twiiter account similar theme to Japan cricket inviting England after the 2015 knock out courtesy of the tigers:

“We’ve just heard that Rashid Khan has scored Afghanistan’s first century of the #CWC19! Wow! 110 from 56 balls. The most runs ever scored by a bowler in the World Cup or something. Well batted young man,”

Record manei ekhon Iceman

he will never be ATG outside of us(Bangladeshies). No matter what he does he will always be put down saying he never won a world cup.

these people will never consider which era and for which team and along which players he played with.

His performance is already better than yuvi of 2011. but people will remember yuvi for winning the WC. but did yuvi do it alone? he had zaheer tournament's 2nd leading wicket takers and Sachin tournament's 2nd leading run scorer.

Where is shakib's helping hand of sachin and zahir?

Shakib is the best player of WC 2019. It's not really up for debate and more and more people are recognizing that. In addition to being the top run getter he's a top 10 wicket taker. What's up for debate is whether he's also the best batsman or not.

I agree that Shakib will never get that proper recognition.

It took many years for non Bangladeshis that the ranking system wasnt faulty when Shakib was top.

Shakib made it to the record books on the way, most significantly becoming only the third player - after Kapil Dev and Yuvraj Singh - to have a century and a five-wicket haul in the same edition of the World Cup,

There have been 3 players who scored 100 and took 5 wickets in World cup

Kapil dev 1983
Yuvraj Singh 2011
Shakib al Hasan 2019

there is a pattern in this record. it might not happen but it's fun to think about it
