yhh its nice to have young players (which i have, which hopefully going to be club superstars ) but the thing is that they wont be able to compete with the toughness in ftp unless you are in a country like sri lanka or zimbabwe where there is weaker teams

I would say my oldies are good and experienced. I mean they are old, but even at 30+ I think they'll still be useable, if required.
I've got 7 players above 25, of those 2 are irreplaceable, and other 5, I can move around, and I don't mind selling.
Langley: 27yo, expert/expert batsman with accomplished exp
Monaghan: 26yo capable/accomplished/reliable RM allrounder with reliable exp
Thatcher: 26yo expert/accomplished batsman with outstanding exp
Cusack: 25yo accomplished/accomplished batsman with spectacular exp
McEvoy: 25yo accomplished/accomplished keeper with accomplished keeping and outstanding exp
Mladin: 25yo reliable/capable/accomplished RFS with capable exp
Ul-Maula: 25yo expert/expert RM bowler with reliable exp
Of those, I plan to replace Langley, Monaghan, Mladin, and Ul-Maula in next few seasons.
I've already got replacement for Monaghan (Akib), and for Ul-Maula (Qassem).
For others no idea.
BTW, I noticed, when making a lineup for a friendly match, I have
3 outstanding and 2 expert batsman
3 expert bowlers

yhh lol...but guess what if you dont buy any good experianced players you will be in more trouble because someone from the top division will relegate down to this division, see the competition never ends

Guys, there is a notice on the forums aboout End Of Season changes (for comment)
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/forum...hp?f=3&t=15810
Quote:
Following are a list of proposed changes for implementation at the end of this season. Feel free to comment.
1. Reduced experience bonus
A slight reduction in the constant bonus experience gives, mainly at the higher levels of experience. This _may_ be slightly reduced again in a few seasons. A player with legendary experience will be perhaps 5% less effective (and this will be reflected in player summaries). A player with average experience remains unaffected.
2. Experience for youth matches
An increase in the experience awarded for playing in youth matches. A 16yo playing in most youth matches over 4 seasons will gain about one level experience more than they do currently. Experience from U19 nat matches remains unaffected.
3. Ticket prices
A smallish increase in ticket prices in higher divisions.
4. Spinners
It is significantly easier to train a good spinner than a good seamer, mainly because spinners have a much lower need to train power. I've done some sums and of the top 300 bowlers in the game in terms of player summary, 275 of them are spinners.
While this doesnt tell the whole story, I'm proposing a change to player summaries and in-game bowler attack and defence calculations to make spinners slightly less effective (approximately 10%).
Based on further calculations, this means that of the top 300 bowlers in the game, roughly half will be spinners and half seamers.FTP-ashario
|
So people thinking about moving countries (to a lower division) should rethink ... higher experiences for youths and higher ticket prices. Also those who have highly experienced/older players and a predominantly spin team.
