^Their batters outbatted us too. And you don't get two world class blowers by fluke. I am sure they will have more of the similar in future. Plus Nabi is not a bad bowler too. No. 3 in the ICC's T20 all-rounders ranking.

They definitely have some good spinners atm, aside from the 3 you named there is also Amir hamza, qais Ahmad and zahir khan, possibly more as I’m pretty sure there were a couple more ripping it up in their domestics (tough to know the quality of it yet).

Looks like our fate in T20 relies totally on the bat of Ryad and Mushy..the bhairas.
Sakib Tamim just occupy a position..nothing more.

I am very happy that Mushy has figured out how to score in T20s.
Now only if Tamim and specially Sakib could improve their batting.
Not much faith in our young players.

Tamim is still a very useful T20 player. He played a crucial innings in the 2nd game with a 43 run innings while batting against Afghan spin. We also don't have a better opener than him.

Ya..but we did not win that match.did we?
Someone as.exp3rienced as Tamim should do better.
If I am not wrong Tamim does not hve a match winning knock in T20s..right?
It is just that he is the only option we hve.

Default Sabbir dropped for final Afghanistan T20I due to disciplinary reason

Didn't want to spoil our mood by opening a new thread on this. But more news on our shonar chele

Quote:
Bangladesh all-rounder Sabbir Rahman was dropped from the last game against Afghanistan in the recently-concluded three-match T20I series on disciplinary grounds, Bangladesh Cricket Board sources confirmed on Saturday (June 9).

Sabbir, who is still serving a ban from domestic competition for assaulting a fan, got involved in a verbal argument with Mehidy Hasan after the second T20I which eventually turned into a physical altercation, according to an eye-witness.

"It was not that big an issue, just a misunderstanding. The incident is not even mentioned in manager's report," an official accompanying the team said on request of anonymity.

Since one more incident of misconduct could have resulted in more trouble for the beleaguered 26-year-old, it is learnt that the team manager Khaled Mahmud opted to brush this episode aside.

Wow wow wow. Sujon is a real politician. No wonder our men's team lack discipline on and off the field.

TBH players like Shabbir are really bad elements in a team despite their abilities.

If he wasn’t a politician he would not have held his current position in the team for so long

Contradictory statements. Verbal then escalated into physical.

No one has the backbone to kick this dude out.

Haturi was the man.

Kick sabbir out, he is meant to be coming into his prime years and look at him, got a big attitude, tries to push people around but he can't perform, got plenty of other deserving younger prospects in shanto, zakir etc.

How was this sort of attitude allowed to develop? And if he already had this attitude then obviously no one did anything to stop it, perhaps they even fed and bred this sort of attitude. As much as I believe sabbir should be held accountable for his actions and he should be, everything needs to be re evaluated, same thing with the Aussies from what recently happened, it's a culture.

Like I said sabbir might be the one with the ego but why after so many years of being in the locker room does he still have this attitude? Clearly no one is stopping this behaviour and making sure the right attitude is there so it's not just the individual players fault, especially if the seniors have this attitude like they're soo special then the youngsters will learn from that.
