I was listening to BBC radio where these lasses were. The amount of knowledge they have about Bangladesh is amazing.

Guha in particular during the NZ match was admiring the Bangladesh fans.

On a different note I think I vaguely remember her supporting Kolkata as she is ethnically from that part.

Athahar's ENGLISH - most obnoxious and worst accent I have ever heard in my life. His accent gives the feeling - keu amare mairala.

His commentary is totally vacuous and empty of substance. Even ShamChow is way better than him.

He is a baaaad ambassador and influence. His stuttering projects someone from a team who is shaky in confidence and gives a bad image for Bangladesh. Heck even Shahriar Nafees is more well spoken.

Where's idumb when you need him?

Athar is so crap that the broadcaster has limited his services to only Bangladesh matches.

Sometimes in the art of commentary the less said the better. You need to give exposure to those pockets of silence that actually gives more tone, shape and volume.

No offense to iDumb, but I was watching the review, and I am impressed by AAK's knowledge. Sure he is not perfect, but neither us any of us.

Thing is when we lose we are so hangry, cranky and frustrated we feel different.

Again, regardless of thread opener, I think it is against the spirit of the forum to invite a person for FP interview, and then ask for his head months later.

I'd love to have a female Bengali commentator, I'm sure her voice would be soothing enough to comfort from the pain Athar Ali Khan provides. Isa Guha's voice is just so pleasant, music to my ears, or may be it's just my hormones.
