What are you talking about ? We are not supposed to meet India before the final, if we can make all the way up there.

BCB reveals U-19 WC squad
http://www.thedailystar.net/story.php?nid=19409
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup squad to be held in Malaysia in February after the upcoming home series against Nepal and West Indies.
Only batsman Amit Majumder has been added to the squad that toured South Africa.
Nepal under-19 team will be the first to arrive here on January 22 on a weeklong tour to play three one-day matches against the local boys. All the matches will be held at the Shaheed Bir Shreshtha Flight Lieutenant Shaheed Matiur Rahman Stadium in Khulna.
West Indies under-19 team is then expected to arrive on January 29 to play four one-day matches. Of the matches, three will be held at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium (SCS) in Bogra while the other one likely to be held at the Fatullah Cricket Stadium.
The selected players have been asked to report to the team manager at BKSP on Thursday by 5:00 pm for a training camp.
SQUAD
Suharwardi Shuvo (captain), Dollar Mahmud, Marshall Ayub, Shuvashish Roy, Rubel Hossain, Golam Kibriya, Rony Talukdar, Mahmudul Hasan, Nasir Hossain, Mohammad Shakil, Nadimuddin Mintu, Mohammad Mithun, Saikat Ali, Amit Majumder and Ashiqul Islam.
** Actually there are three new players added to the squad - Saikat Ali, Amit Majumder and Ashiqul Islam, while Ashraful Aziz and Hamidul Islam are left out from the last squad.

Both Saikat and Amit are opening batsmen, aggressive ones. Amit is a left hand batsman, Saikat is a right hand batsman and right arm medium pacer. Ashiqul Islam is a wicket keeper-batsman (right hander).

Tamim should have been included in this team, he would probably miss one or 2 matches against South Africa, but its a world cup for heavens sake.
Unless of course his thumb will not heal before the world cup.

Tamim is now a Test player, there is no way that management will send him back to the U19 team. They need him for the SA series.

Agreed. I've said this over and over again. We need him for the national side.

Yes in the grand scheme of things, a Test/ODI series against South Africa is more important than the U-19 WC.

We have activated the tour coverage for the U-19 WC. YOu can get there from the front page or the tour menu: http://www.banglacricket.com/tours/
