SA need to beat NZ in order that our chances are boosted for semi spot.

I can't stress it enough how important this NZ vs SA match is for Bangladesh. This match is like Bangladesh playing NZ.
SA must win today, for us to have any chances for semis.
The way it is goings, India, Eng and Australia pretty much placed in Semis. Most likely we are fighting NZ for last spot.
For NZ, Two wins out of remaining 5 matches give them 11 points.
For BD, Three wins out of remaining 4 matches give us 11 points.
In above scenario NZ goes to semi by run rate.
NZ best chances to win 2 matches are against SA, PAK and WI considering losing against Aus and Eng.
SA is the weakest of all. NZ will try die hard today to bag 2 points.
Comon Amla, do hamla! However, i believe Rabada will win it for SA today.

NZ bowling is quite strong - a player like Southee cannot find place in the team.
BTW, if SA can score 300 today, NZ will be toast. Amla looks in HAmla mode today Perils of fielding fast
Hope I have not spoken too soon.

Atleast as a Bangladeshi I have more faith in my team unlike some who write off a defeat seeing the opposition's first innings score even before a single ball is bowled

South Africa look out of sorts. They're forgetting that they're still in with a chance of that 4th spot. Just beat New Zealand, and that 4th spot belongs to anyone. That South Africa v New Zealand is a big game for all sides, especially South Africa.

I am big critic of bhaggo excuse that hack Ashraful started .. but Sri lanka game being washed out a game even brendon mccullam predicted we will win is surely bad luck .. India not getting a go at new zealand after warm up loss is also terrible luck ..they would have been extra pumped up

We should stop talking about luck and concentrate how we can change our luck by doing everything to win against Australia.
Even if the Sri Lanka game was not washed out and we won it we still needed to beat Australia for the 6th win thanks to the Mushfiq two run out blunders of Williamson and himself in NZ game.
