BD may have won the last series against zim but some of the matches were close and zim could have won the series, with the inclusion of some more experienced mature cricketers, who have had county stints i would very much be wary of zimbabwe at this point. they've got back some experienced more consistent players and some young raw talents so we shouldn't underestimate them. plus if things go well for these returning players and zimbabwe cricket then we could see some of the better players returning i.e. sean ervine, blignaut, ireland etc.

Three main cities

Aucland (1.4million people, Christchurch 350,000 and Wellington 300,000)

And then the smaller cities like dunedin, Palmerston north, Whangarei, tauraunga, napier, hastings, invercargill, blenheim, nelson, masterton, new plymouth, gisbourne, hamilton, timaru among others

We are an urbanised country with pretty much everyone living in cities

I live in the south Island which is the largest island but only has 25% of the population because it is full of mountains. most of the country lives in the top third of new zealand

I like Gowza's post although having watching the series live I disagree on the closeness of ZIM winning the series. But Shak and company needs to keep in mind that we do not have the room to show complacency.
