Arrow Simulation League- Bangladesh 20-Over League

Hey all, I am currently thinking of running a simulation league that involves teams from BD.

In all, looking for at least 8 members to join. I have a version of Don Bradman cricket.

So if you are interested, please say 'in' and when we have a desired amount of players, you'll choose the name of your teams (please don't choose any of the current ones for BPL teams), make up your own team names. This will be on a first come, first serve basis.

You will be allowed to choose players, in rounds... all the way up to 15 players. 15 rounds. 9 Bangladeshi players + 6 Foreign players. BD players for the first 9 rounds, while the last 6 rounds will be international players.

The sooner we have the members join, the sooner we will have the draft, and the sooner we will start with the simulation

Oh well, seems like everyone is not hip to the concept.

I thought that this would have been a good reason to bring new members to the forum...

But, the enthusiasm is hardly there...I'm 100% committed to this.

Come on bhais and bahens...

You should PM those that took part in MLC.

NW, Tigers_eye, Nadim, Maysun, Naimul HD, BP, Afjar, KohliSox, MC etc

They maybe interested.
Also try PM..

Mhram, Roey, Dinraat, Roy etc, they seem to be active.

Rather they join like you rather than PM-ing.

Giving everyone a fair chance

No one hardly visits this section, so hardly anyone would join.

Asif marketing MLC by using it on his signature.. and telling others, pretty sure by PM.

If you can get four teams, than you can see how it goes.. not bad for a start.

But I've posted about it on some of the threads in the cricket and forget cricket sections. ...

On mobile, I can't see anyone's signature...so that gets missed.

Somehow if we can get it sticky on the main section that would be good...

But as I have said earlier, the enthusiasm is missing.

Some of these guys were very active when I was on a hiatus during 2011-2013...

This section of the forum is mostly a ghost town today.

Did something sour happened that forced them away?

BC environment has changed over the years.
Before when you posted something people didn't go after you with 'I'm right your wrong mentality' it was more friendly banters, but sometimes use to get pretty heated, of course cricket related - unfair results, blaming simulation, players performing in real world and not in the game.. different kinds.

But now when you post something, most of the time your having to defend/explain your post. Becuase some are searching to find something to bring you down.. it goes back to the mentality of 'I'm right, your wrong'.

Back to the topic...

In order to name your team, it will have to come from a region of your choice... hometown, etc.

@Sporting, you wanna go ahead and select your team. I'll do the rest. I will create one for myself also.

The other six teams will be randomly chosen.

What are the rules? Do I just pick 9 BD players and 6 overseas?
How should the starting XI be composed? What the overseas limit.

Are you going to post screen shots of the results? I would like to see them.

8 teams in the competition. Round-robin, top 4 advances to semis, and then final. Those 9 BD players possibly 3 from national team, while the rest are domestic players.

Overseas limit is 4 per side. And just make up your starting XI.

Of course.
