You don't have Bangla installed in your PC, do you? In the first post Miraz wrote in Bangla that this is the official thread to congratulate Rafique (Omio's one is first but unofficial), and messages posted in this thread will be printed and delivered to Rafique.

Now do you understand why this thread needs remain separate?

Dear Bro Rafiq
I won't say much. All I would say is "If all the players in Bangladesh side were even 50% committed as you are, Bangladesh was in top 6 in ICC ranking right now. "

Rafique bhai:

Congrats on the great successes, and thank you for giving us the memories to cherish all our lives. It would have been nice to have you here for longer, but I guess we should now settle with you as our team advisor. Hope to see you as a member of our team for a long time.

Take off from cricket, and take a vacation with your family for some time. You deserve it.

Thank you,

Imran

Congrats for having a glorious career.

Would like to see Rafique in some role with the team, may be a bowling coach/anything else, to instill the qualities you have; the urge for self improvement, relentless perseverence of doing the best, extreme love & passion for the country etc in our players.

SALUTE !!!!

Congratulations on a successful career. You hit a few bumps here and there, but you were always a fighter and you carried the whole spin dept on your shoulder for most of your career. For that, we salute you.

Also, next test match is alomst 7 months away. We coud start a petition to Rafique bhai to continue playing until he is trully ready to retire. For a spinner (of his quality), even 40 is a decent age to retire.

We have often misused the term "fighter" for mediocre cricketers. If there's anyone who really deserves the respect, it's Mohammad Rafique. His struggles and relentlessness should make him an inspiration for players of the up and coming generation. Nobody in Bangladesh cricket has gone through what he has and yet come out victorious. Good luck on the IPL - trophy chai mamu!

M Rafique,
Salaam. Thank you for the countless memories, the smiles. Just thinking of your departure, eyes get moist. Just know we love you from bottom of our hearts. As fans, many of us may have said things that may hurt your feelings at times, forgive and forget. Thank you for establishing a precedent of a new era that all BD players should follow (bow out with dignity in tact). Finally, please open up camps for our boys. Be it, how be a cricketer or how to bowl or how to trap a batsman. Will miss you. Hold that smile for ever.

It is shame that so small percentage of us congratulating Rafiq. But if this thread is about Bashing Rafiq I think by this time hundreds of response in this thread instead of present 50
Shame on us
