i am utterly disgusted with the effort. This kind of loser attitude will lead us nowhere. Discard the players who plays for themselves. I dont mind even if it's any senior players.

and mahmudullah, he is good for nothing, only cares about his personal innings, he has come in many times where he is needed to play aggresively, but instead he doesn't even try.

like against england when he came in he was needed to play a few shots, but instead he ended up with 24 from something like 46 balls. Luckily though shafiul saved him and attacked the bowlers. And to top it off he was awarded loads of money.

jahirul should practice keeping and then replace mushfiq in a few months hopefully.

We have too many 'grafters' of the innings - roqibul, mushfiq, mahmudullah and nafees a little
- even though they get out for under 25 runs with a strike rate of 60 most of the times lol

- don't understand why they axed junaid, in the world cup half of the times he got out he was run out. Also leading up to world cup i remember him playing very well.

-I fear mashrafe will never be back to the form he was like a few years ago

His keeping has improved and still he had two blunders today! Its not only today, its every match. Junaid Siddique would be more effective in batting and keeping combined compared to him!

You misunderstood my point. Even though the squad was chosen before that match, the playing eleven was chosen after. And yes the playing eleven has a lot to do with the practice match. That is what determines the fate of the lesser players. In this case Raqib seemed to be teh player in form. Everyone around him failed in that practice match. Based on that, it was justified for him to be in the playing eleven.

If you are however arguing about why he was in the squad to begin with, then I have no idea and that is not what I was arguing about.

We should not blame the players. They are trying their highest level.You cant expect more from this group.But Its very hard to believe that Mahmudullah, Mushfiq Raqibul, Sn are the best cricketer from whole Bangladesh.I believe that we have more talented and consistent performer in Bangladesh.Most of the players in the national squad never get selected based on their performance. Political backup and mamu-chachu identity is a big requirement.
