Recently Mashrafee has been having problems but I am pretty sure he is going to be back and play like the real Mashrafee. I hope he recovers soon from this and improves as well!!!

he is trying to play too defensive for the team and he is a slogger not a batsmen like JO or Rajin. He is trying to be too careful and stick around to the wicket. But that is giving extra advantage to the bowler to pressure him and get him out. If our irresponsible top order can give a good start and send him to bat the way he bats, it might improve. But that should not be our or his concern, I am more concerned about his fitness and his pace bowling, which has no impact on SL batsmen for some reason.

not too worried about mash, but if you're wondering why we are having such a poor series, just consider this:

SN - out of form after scoring 25/innings
JO - playing at his usual calibre
Rajin - the only guy who has looked solid throughout
bashar - terrible form now for the last 15+ matches
ash - one decent and one good innings
rahim - another rare bright spot
sakib - disappointing beginning to test career
mehrab - too early to tell but ditto
pilot - he and bashar are done
mashrafee - bowling without any fire
rafique - bowling, batting, fielding are all a shadow of what it used to be
shahadat - the only bowler with some potency
razzak - just not a test bowler
sharif - the least effective of the lot

so out of 24 innings (4 innings for 6 top order batsmen) we have rajins 51, JO 62, ash and mushy...in otherwords just 4 innings of substance out of 24.

and only 1 bowler out of 5 who can actually put pressure on the opposition. no wonder we are struggling.

but i am sure that mash will get out of the funk, and hopefully the other batsmen will show up for the final test match.

after 89 and 62 all out, i think seeing 300 or more in 1st innings will be refreshing, if we can score 254 and 299 in 2nd innings against the likes of murali and co, then 350 is not at all without reach in 1st innings, if we apply ourselves.

I want him to bowl at full pace and not at 120kmhs. He better fire up for the 3rd test and ODIs.

Mashrafee is not feeling happy now a days and I can see it in his eyes. His expressions are terrible, he got injury problems for sure but either he is hiding it or the management is neglecting it. If this is the case then we might loose him for another year or two. This is the time to wake up. Actually our problem is as a nation we are reactive rather than proactive.Pathetic.

mash is don yh...hes an amazing bowler..n has been an inspiration for many of the players and supporters wen the tigerz arnt performing as well as they shud, wen he strted scoring the runs everyone seemed to forget tha at the end of the day bhe was still onlky a specialist bowler...n personally i think that he was selected as the vice captain bcuz pf his great cricketing mind. Jus bcuz he has one bad spell doesnt mean he isnt suitable for the job!! yes he is an allrounder an i think tha the only reason people are bashing mash is bcuz wen the specialist batsmen failed...(nt including ash n mushi for the 2nd innings ovisoudly) u luk to the bowlers...which shud nt be the case!!
wow tha was an essay... nt sure if it makes sense bu hpe i made a point somewhere...!

In the recent ODI and test series against india we saw mashrafee who was jus as gud as any other batsman in our line up even better.. wat happend to him now? now he is nowhere near the ball..even abdur razzaq plays better then him

I am tired of these negative threads all around. Give it a break. Our fans are getting in the negative mental stats just like our players at the moment.

He is not a batsman. He is a bowler and thats what he should focus. Enough said. We need him more as a bowler than batsman, and I think he has done a good job in the first game as he promised.

Well, in the test series....he just could not able to read Murali....and he himself accept that he is facing difficulties against him...which is very normal......and today he failed to deliver...thats it.....don't need to be that much worried....He is deffinately going to come back...just need to put his acts together....some time in the pitch will give his confidence back.........but the fact is we don't want him to get time in pitch...as we want our batsmen to be in the pitch all the time
