Default New Slogout Tournament

There are some StickCricket tournaments going on right now but I was wondering if anyone was interested in joining a Slogout tournament. These are the rules:

1. There will be 16 players in this tournament and it is in the knock out format.

2. When you play the computer, you play the first 10 overs of a 50 over match with the hard difficulty mode.

3. You must play with Bangladesh

4. All matches start at 5 PM U.S. Eastern time if that is ok with everyone.

5. The way we determine who wins is whoever decides to go first will play the computer. After they finish the 10 overs he or she will post his or her score on this thread. The person who chose to bat second will then play the computer and try to chase down the first players score.

6. You have to post your honest score! No playing more than once to get a higher score. If you had bad luck and went 40 allout, that is the score you must post. If you lie about your score, we might not know but Allah will.

7. If we don't get 16 players, we can do it with 8.

8. The computer must be Australia

Ok well we have 3 people in the tournament so far. Me, Dhrubo, and catstrophy. That means there are 5 spots left for a 8 player tournament or 13 spots left for a 16 player tournament. Whoever is interested, pm me or post in this thread that you are in.

50 overs is a bit too long, I think. Why not make it 20/20?

Ok guys this part might be a little confusing: Since they don't have a multiplayer version of Slogout, we have to play against the computer. Now lets say the computer puts up a score of 199 in 20 overs and you have to chase that. Lets say you get to 200 in the 10th over without going allout but the match is over because you already chased down the computer's total. You would not post that your score is 200 unless you went allout. If you had wickets remaining, you would take the run rate and add that to each over you did not complete. So lets say that I went 200/0 after 10 overs at a run rate of 20 runs an over. I would then add 20 runs per over to the remaining 10 overs that I didn't finish. So the score I would actually post would be 400.

I have another idea we will play 50 ovrs match but since we will only bat and in the 2nd innings we would play 10 ovrs in a 50 ovrs match that way we will have a confirm scorecard and if we go your way then suppose you did reached that target in 10 overs and you calculate the run rate with the remaining ovrs and you score 100 but what if your run rate goes down or what if it goes up.

I don't know, why don't we just play 50 overs. I mean its not that long. It would probably take 30 min to an hour.

Look if we play the whole fifty overs it will waste time and different players will have different targets so why not play 10 overs from a 50 overs match and post the score here because if you play a fifty over match you will be given a target that will be impossible to reach in 10 overs so if we play 10 overs from 50 overs match every one will have different scores and then we can judge who has the best scoreetc.you agree or what?
