At last Mr. Boycott spoke. I was wondering why he didn't opened his mouth during our tour - was he kind of afraid that we might turn out to be a dark horse of some sort?

Now that the tour is over, and there is no Bangladesh-England match nearby, plus England suggesting of not hosting Bangladesh before 2011 or something - so its the right time to speak out?

Go Easy on Mr. Boycott, Guys.
Remember, Mr. Boycott is under chemotherapy to treat cancer. All those comments about his Mom and Bangladesh is just a sideeffect of chemotherapy.

Which sport was boycott talking about? I am very much sure he wasn't talking about cricket. I am not sure but i think he referred to some domestic sport which i should not mention in this post. He is so silly about his mother. He dont know how to respect his mother.

Do you really believe that it was a constructive criticism!!
Yes, I am not trying to wind anyone up. I was giving my honest opinion, nothing wrong with it whatsoever.

Maybe you should take off your red and green tinted glasses and then look at my opinion.
Hey rob, nobody was telling that your opinion wasn't constructive. In our opinion, Boycott's comments were outrageous, and that's all.

reverse_swing in that post indicated at Boycott's comment, but you took it personally.

OK- enough of the emotional outbursts otherwise we will shut this thread.. And please, note that under no circumstances should vulgar words be used- Whatever the outrage.

I surprised by the strong reactions from the BC fans. We played very badly in the tests. That is a fact. We cannot just say that our players have potential. They do, but we need to prove that on the field. There will be detractors who will continue ro slam us until then. We need to improve and improve fast. Only then we will shut them up.

Someday we will wear those comments like badge of honor. We have another chance to redeem ourselves soon. Let's play our hearts out in Sri Lanka. Let's prove ourselves before Boycott disappears from cricket scene. Then we can say 'we told you so'.

Why don't you answer my q instead of whipping and playing the foreign poster card ok.

All I can say is if you say that if you say boycott comment was constructive and you wanna support that then you will get stuff like that which is buy they way true.
