lol.. It does make you wonder about the bad strategic decision by the board to play his team right after sacking him or.. rather after he quit.

Man when Bangladesh was going 100/1 I was like put up a fight FFS. Damn right we got some competition. We got some f... competition alright.

The way Mendis and the Guna guy was playing, it was as almost as if they had a cool and calm brutal demeanor "I don't care what ball you bowl to me I am gonna send it out of the park". It was so violent that all I saw was cock bat, react, hit for boundary, reset to a stance. Damn!!! Mechanical. Machine.

Infact I actually looked for the highlights it was so brutal.

And he is probably a new and fresh face too! Sri Lanka definitely got a good future on their hands.

Going back to the topic, I wonder if containing privileged infos and our weakness can be prevented by contract or something. Then again that'd be dumb because our players also had insider dirt on Sri Lanka too when Hathuri first joined yet little did we CAPITALIZE.

Man now I know what it feels like to be gang....planked from a pirate boat.

I don't buy this ajaira kechal. The bottom line is WE SUCK. If AFGAN coach comes to BD today and gives all the secrets, we will still probably lose against them.

The student who is DUMB, it makes no difference if the exam is open book or close book.

@Zeeshan, Haturi came from an Australian state team before coming to the BD team. So he didn't had much dirt on the SL boys

In WC2015, a former BD coach gave all the secrets to Scotland team, and yet we won against. It proves that these secrets don't matter as long as you have some ghilu, which our players don't have.

we only have 1 T20 player, Sabbir, and they pick him for Tests that too the all important #3 position. even in T20 Sabbir is a mediocre player compared to intl standards. he would. The other 10 players are crap for this format. Tamim, Mushy, Riyad, Shakib...how many of them average even 25 in T20s? How many have a strike rate of 135? All average 20 at a strike rate of 110. No wonder 12th ranked ZIM beats us at home. LOL.

The Test team is a work in progress. With Shakib out its a 9 man team. Hard to replace a 40 average batsman and a 200 wicket bowler, forget about in the same guy. On top of that idiots like Sabbir get picked as a specialist batsman and useless bowlers like Razzak and Sanjamul, Rubel get selected. Winning the wrong toss also hurt a tad.

But the ODI team is where we have our biggest headaches. The world cup is coming and every team will have a good wrist spinner and will go in 5 SLAs Get with the 2020 program! of course we lack a big hitter...when Saifuddin is your best you have issues. And the tail cant bat either. We havent won an ODI series at home since lowly Afghanistan in 2016, that too merely by a 2-1 margin. Boys lost their hunger. They smashed Lanka by 80 runs in Lanka less than 1 year ago. That team lost to ZIM at home. We even stomped em by 160 this series...we should be better than them. Boys need to work their butts off and selectors need to get their ish together if we want to finish in the top 6 of the World Cup.

I freaking hate him. No amount of pilgrimages will save Mash from the embarrassment he will have to live with for losing to this joke coach.

This joke coach, kicked a the *** of a full strength BD team, who has been apparently "rising rapidly" for the last 2 years.

A good read. His coaching approach with Sri Lanka.

Not really. There is no great tactical manaeuvering required for this Bangladesh side. Do simple things right, they will do the rest.

Its a good thing you tucked your tail between your legs and ran away from that bet before the SL series started. I told you that SL would win. But you were too busy assuming that BD had already moved on past the likes of the Lankans.

Shakib, Tamim, Mushfiq, Mahmudullah - none of these guys are spring chickens. If BD don't find some decent new players, and fast - things could get even more uglier in the couple of seasons to come.

I thought Soumya Sarkar and Mahmudullah would take that next step and become legit top calibre players - they have a decent level of batting talent and ability. But somehow not able to really put it all together.

Who are the next hopes on the bowling front for BD? Outside of "Fizz", the bang average Taskin, and the spray gun Rubel?

Any young pace bowlers coming through?

Took long enough. You're getting slow old man. I think team India needs a younger cheerleader. Kohli and co had to wait like a whole week for you to come here and validate their SA series. Thats unacceptable man. The world needs IndHellYeah, not the decaf version.

^he isn't wrong about our pool of players. If you take Kohli out of picture, team India still looks like a very competitive team on paper. Compare that to us, take Shakib out, already feels like half the team is missing. Take Tamim and Mushfiqur out, won't even win against Canada.

Validate? I'm DISAPPOINTED with the outcome of the SA series. Test series win was there for the taking, and my team blew it.

Btw, you can call me all kinds of names - doesn't change the fact that you made big claims and pussied out when it came to backing up your words with a friendly wager - and all that was on the line was a mea culpa. Classic Farquaad though, didn't expect anything different from you.

Of course I made big claims and will continue to do so. I didn't sign up to be IndYeah fanboy.

Not taking that wager was one of the simpler decisions to make like passing on that third game of Russian roulette that one time. If you had lost that wager, do you really think you'd show up here to keep your end of the bargain? I may be a prick and proud of it too, but I like to think I'm not going to be hoodwinked into retarded wagers with you. You've got better luck trying to swindle me for some cash. You're going to have to step your con game up massively to get me into anything more than a keyboard skirmish.
