Senior team game already making me mad shouldn't have opened the feed-- I was enjoy8ing cricket after a long time. btw 2 umpire review per innings is way too many for test. Should be 1. u don't get decisions every otheer over like in ODI. i know it's counterintuitive but number of reviews for ODI should be higher than test if anything.

Shoriful has been groomed through the HP unit for last couple of years. His bowling partners such as Khaled and Ebadot are already playing for the national team. I don't really see any reason to hold him back.

Unlike Fizz, he is actually a conventional left arm seam/swing bowler, and can add variety to our attacks.

agree. Also many times batters make your bowling look better than it is. waht's the next level where cricket is up a notch? maybe be part of the BD A tour, then slowly phase into national team in 2 years if he remains successful.

u19 success always do not correlate to long national career. Even look at miraz.. the best batter in u19 level can't hold a bat at national team.. is a massive disappointment.

1 or 2 guys from this team will go on to have a loong career at best.

and how is khaled and ebadot doing?? Barely making any impact just another passing by player for our national team. Not a tamim, shakib, mushfiq or mashrafee.

That should give you an idea what are the standard of pacers we have at A-team level.

Pacers need to be groomed in pairs. Shoriful is already showing much higher maturity level than likes of Hasan Mahmud and Sumon Khan, no point pairing him with them. Next logical progression for him should be bowling alongside likes of Rahi.

I was not talking about age level cricket - Shoriful has already played for the Academy team, including on overseas tours.

which proves the point that fast tracking is probably not the best idea. there is a big gap at level of u19 cricket vs national team. Anways all the best to shoriful, he has done well and i wish him a good career but i wouldn't go too mjuch gaga over him yet - specially for a bowler. at national level, he will be studied till he becomes a predictable idiot like mustafiz (still our best bowler - and thats the sad part) .

there is an x-factor some ppl have that let them adapt to higher level and thrive.. shakib is an example. I saw shorifuls death bowling against NZ.. Under pressure he was caving and getting tonked around... and ppl want him to bowl at some of the current world t20 superstar lol
