Congrats!!! your Barisal won this 1. But, my Khulna won too. I think they top the table now. Next match is with you guys. Expecting a cracker. Both teams got some notable pacers. probably it will be a battle between them.

From Tiger Cricket -
Quote:
At Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, left arm pacer Kamrul Islam threatened to steal the show for Chittagong but a cool-headed unbeaten 22 from Mehrab Hossain guided Dhaka to their second win of this competition.
After dismissing Chittagong for 278 runs in the second innings Dhaka must had felt job done as the target was only 103. But a dramatic batting collapse, mainly because of Kamrul, saw Dhaka slump to 46/5 in the 18th over.
Kamrul came in as the first change bowler and made an immediate impact. He removed Anwar Hossain (13) who nicked one behind the wicket to wicketkeeper Dhiman Ghosh, to end up the 27-run opening stand. Al Shahriar (0) got out in the same combination, although this time Dhiman took the catch down the leg side.
Ashraful (4) came in and beautifully guided the ball between point and gully into the fence in only the second delivery he had faced. But in the very next ball he committed suicide as he tried to repeat the shot but this time Masumuddowla took a dolly at gully.
Kamrul also ended up first innings centurion Javed Omar’s (16 off 42) resistance by hitting the stamps with a direct throw from the deep fine leg as the opener was still a few yards short. When Kamrul got Shamsur Rahman’s edge on its way to Dhiman, Chittagong were firmly in the driving seat as the home team were 46/5.
Then Mehrab and Mahmudullah put on valuable 39 runs on the board for the sixth wicket. The later one was in aggressive mood as Mehrab played the second fiddle. Mahmudullah scored 27 off 38 that included two boundaries and a six off Faisal Hossain over long on.
But then he was castled by Saju Datt’s left arm spin and the responsibility shifted to Mehrab’s shoulder. Although the left hander lost Rafique (0) on the way, Mehrab (22* off 46) safely took Dhaka to a three-wicket victory with an unbroken 18 runs stand with number nine batsman Mohammad Sharif (8*).

Why is it a good thing can you tell me? Don't you think BD would have benefited more if he was in form? rather then sending an untested opener? I mean if you have a relative running for the spot than i can see your reason for joy but if you r a true supporter you should have prayed for all the good players of BD to be in FORM rather than becoming happy for their lost form...
I hope you understand what i am trying to say here...

If this trend continues in scoring and bowling, we might see some interesting stats that might give selectors headache to choose the right players.
So dissapointed on most national team players for not being able to go to the top of these lists. When selectors planning to provide preliminary squad for the upcoming tour? Will it going to happen after NCL is over? Any information on that?

I feel that the squad will be selected as soon as Coach Siddons assumes duties which I heard will be less than 2 weeks away.
He has to begin his training camp for the NZ tour almost immediately.
NCL runs until next year.

SS
I agree. The likes of SN, Ash has done no justice to their names. Sakib has somewhat faltered after the smoking start. SN is on shaky grounds. Maybe, he should give up captaincy and concentrate on his batting. Afterall, we need a strong scoring SN more than captain SN. Aftab is another case. He is not properly accepting the open spot of test no.3 with his shaky performance. Ash never plays well in home leagues and can't really judge him. Overall, Yes, very dissapointing scores from national batsmen. Bowlers have been outstanding and they have been pushing the national bowlers for a spot or two. Pilot has done what he was supposed to do. Go back and score as he was dropped for his batting..

5000 taka is not bad for MoM. Last year they used to get around 3000.
This year BCB spending a lot of money. Players staying in first class hotels, getting 10,000 for each match they play. Benched players gets half of it I think. So over-all, 5000 for the MoM prize is not bad at all.
