Now lets think abt it, had he done nothing would there have been any problem? He retired because of not being in the 30-probables for the World T20..even though he shudve known how much he sux in T20s. Had he done nothing there wouldve been no issues at all. Loke bole na, bobar kono shotru nai.
DaRock thinks he is a boss cricketer and that board shud give him ultimate mistake. Doesnt it happen elsewhere? Top quality players like abdul razzaq, kevin pietersen, and all many other WORLD CLASS players did not get proper respect from the board. And Rock, who is he? Whats his worth? He has done nothing, and when i mean nothing i mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for BD team. If he had performed somewhat like tamim then no one wouldnt mind too much. But when an ordinary cricketer makes such stupid comments there is nothing to do but
Thats the reason why we hate so much. He hardly performs, and yet he questions why he doesnt get enough praise, or backing up. In the any sports, the only thing that can back you up is PERFORMANCE, and performance only. If he performs, shob guna maaf.

Man Rock was totally mis handled. His case was almost like Tamim.Selectors and Siddons wanted him in the team but board president told them to discard his name.lot of players in the world get devaluation by the board as u said. But they don't discard violating the selection of the coach and selector .he was totally mis handled by the board.Just read the post 406 carefully.

We are way too much judgemental and disrespectful to the tradie just because he failed to perform or probably wasn’t born with enough talent for outstanding achievements

I was born with ZERO ability to play international cricket, and decided to pursue more realistic dreams and aspirations that didn't involve doing the same things over and over again but expecting different results each time.

basically if he has no talent and doesnt perform then he should be nowhere near the national team. Why should he gets chance ahead of others? And Rok had plenty of chances and he failed most of the time.
So maybe what loitta did was right, if some1 fails continously and still is retain it creates a bad image for youngsters. Its like that just if you show promise youll become a regular in the team regardless of whether you perform.
The national team is not for nursing this players, its a place where the best get a chance to peform at the big stage

I am simply saying people only see what they can witness and not understand the reasons behind things sometimes. The way to change that is the change the issues.
Rocky can definitely bat. Period.

I apologize for late reply.
Yes there are always pressure and some faces it more than others. But, success comes to those who dont succumb to pressure.
Shakib was under tremendous pressure from the board, media and also some fans after the 2011 wc. But he didn't let it affect his performance.
Our board is totally unprofessional and the people that run them cant think rationally. But despite all that whenever a player is in the field with a bat in his hand, there are no board members there, no media ppl there. In order to succeed he has to seize that moment when he has the power to do so by overcoming all the pressures.
