Just checked his stats, aklemalp your bro is averaging 45 in first class. Very impressive for a under 19 player at 18 years old. Might play for Bangladesh very soon as we need a right hander at the top.

He's at the crease at the moment, average is currently on 46.00

His team needs 272 more runs to win the game. They have all day to do this. Mustafizur is on the opposition team.

In this match, he's crossed 1000 FC career runs.

Hope he bat for the entirety of the day.

I know that the following article is one month old, but I can't help to notice and point out the impeccable record of Mossadek...

http://www.espncricinfo.com/national...y/1075916.html

Before Saif's record of 204 (youngest BD double centurion), Mossadek made two double centuries in the span of 1 week (scores of 250 and 282).

I can't help to wonder why isn't he in the test team and already played at least 10 matches.

East Zone has some decent bowlers - Abu Jayed, Abul Hasan, Saqlain. It will be pretty good attack if one or two national team bowlers join them.

Chance for Saif to show his not only a bully against weak sides.

Yes, I'm looking forward to this. How he plays against top quality bowlers.

I would have liked if the senior players from the national team came back to play in these games.

Don't understand why one game they are opening the batting with him, and the next he comes at number 3. Should give him his permanent position.

Fell cheaply today while batting at position #1.

^^ Saif is pretty much the only Central Zone top order batsman that's inform this season, so no wonder he has been promoted.

It does not make sense why Central Zone still loaning out players to other Zones when they themselves are so badly depleted. It would have benefited Saif immensely if he could play alongside guys like SN, Mosaddek, Tasamul, etc (born in Dhaka Division, yet playing for other zones) as opposed to losers like Mehrab Jr and Marshall.

Saif played a lone hand today.

Scoring 63 out of his team's 181, which included 8x4, 1x6, off 136 balls...opening the batting.

This guy is maturing fast as a batsman.
Work hard, play harder.

Keep the fight on young tiger

I'm proud you, my little brother.

I can see him as a next test opener for bd. Because Kaye's day is becoming over and somaya is a shorter format player... so he has a real chance in year or so..

2 centuries in 10 matches. Not bad. 7 50's as well, This guy should thank aklemalp for the promotion he is getting here. But very good average for our U-19 captain (need to get it above 50 though).

Glad Saif scored at over 100 Strike rate.
He played awfully slow during the U19 world cup. Happy that he has changed his playing style to suit the modern ODI.

I follow him on Instagram, and before the the training started for this Emerging Cup...he made an ultimatum/oath to himself that he was going to work harder on his game. That was right after the FC season. He is a smart kid. In the practice matches he more some valuable scores. Now, he feels he got some of that confidence to score quickly in the ongoing tournament.

He is consistent. I wish him all the best for the remainder of the tournament.

Tough day today, dismissed cheaply. Was a tricky wicket to bat on first up.

Now hope that they get the win!
