Default Proof of our improvement

We have improved greatly in cricket in the Whatmore era, and in the last year. What telling piece of evidence will I use to prove this bold statement?

You.

From the match and other countless threads since the first 2 one dayers against SL, we see that 90% of the Banglacricket members are dissappointed. Devestated is more accurate.

Just a year ago in the Asia Cup and Champions Trophy, we, the fans, would have hit the roof with a performace of batting out 50 overs, scoring 220, losing only 6 wickets, and taking more than 2 or 3. I admit that our fielding was better in those days, however. But today, we the fans, are utterly frustrated and most of us believe our cricketers to be worthless at their profession.

What a difference a year makes.

That is of very little consolation. Besides I don't believe that to be a proof of improvement. The game-plan was negative. Never in the 200 overs were we in contention or anywhere near the driving seat. We were never able to exert enough pressure to threaten an upset victory. We were soundly thrashed. And it is highly disappointing.

it seems there is no accountibility in bd team. management ,players, everyone should be held accountable in regards to their duties. millions of viewers were watching and it was a total disgrace and disrespect to the viewers. i am not worried about individual performance, i am worried about attitude and spirit. it was not there.

I totally agree with banglar_dorbesh
BD already played 2 ODI and 1 Practice match.Still we are having a hard time understanding bd 's Game Plan and Approach .

I can predict now during the Test matches we will See ODI STYLE batting from our players .....
