For us? We suck. Yesterday, we sucked harder.

Just trying hard to find some Shantona. That's all.

In order to do that, I have summed up the above stats and found out the following (and as we still haven't played South Africa yet, and we've got 3 ODIs plus 2 tests to play against South Africa in South Africa - just our next tour, so I am trying to find out how many of these are left for us coming in the near future)

SriLanka currently holds the record for being the highest number of times scoring under 100 runs (8 - eight times) - according to this Cricinfo site).

Pakistan is second (6 times).

And then us (4) times and we are equalling New Zealand, West Indies and England (maybe).

So, we are currently half-way there to beating or equalling the current record holders, unless something miraculous or impossible happens soon because if it doesn't, we all know our weaknesses against pace attack, and the number of matches that we have played so far - only 52.

If we go at the rate that we are currently going, it will be sooner rather than later that we would be the record holders for this particular aspect.

I cannot express anything but frustration and anger. How could they....score anything less than 100? What really pissed me off was how Khaled Masud, Pilot got himself out. No doubt he is the most persevering player in the team and deserves to lead the team as captain but was very disappoint and....upset over the way he batted. It was uncharacteristic of him. He shouldn't have let the failures of his team mates get him down and lose focus.

I was following the commentry. He and Maju were the last wickets standing. He went for a lofty shot off the bowling of Chandana and was caught by Murali. He would have never played that shot had the situation been not so hopeless. He should have kept his head down and played till Maju got out or the innings ended.

I think the reason I am so disappointed with Pilot is because of the idiocy of the so called "specialist" batsmen and the "all-rounders". Pilot's temperment is the only thing that would have made any sense in the utter chaos.

If Pilot can instill his personality and guts into the rest of the team, the team can do much much better.
After the 226, the 76 was a shock. Kudos to Pilot, even though he did make that one rash decision.
Our batting was weak due to the presense of too many "all rounders" (I guess their guts/belly were rounder than their performance - I have to amuse myself somehow, naki na ?) and not enough specialized batsmen.
Good job by Monju and nice try by the bowlers even though they got whacked. They had 76 runs to defend and they downed three wickets. I was expecting a 10 wicket loss within 10 overs.
Kapali needs to play a bit more before the coach can make a call on his potential. Mohsin was quiet taken by Kapali and tried him at number four. Unfortunately, Kapali is still fresh to international cricket and maybe later on, he might work it. Let's drop him three places for now and let him get used to real cricket. Besides, jekhane 'specialized batsmen' ra parchena, okhane o ki korbe ?
Durjoy and Shujon. I think BD have to enforce a one ball a over rule.

The rule: now on BD players will pick a random number on each over between 1 and 6. Then, on that over, they are only allowed to hit that ball, other 5, simply defend.

The good side: You will easily make around 100+ with 2/3 wickets lost. That will teach us how to defend, self control of not to chase every ball. This will dramitically improve test temperment resulting in a draw in 12 months.

The bad side: we will inforce this policy for 2 yrs. So those 2 years, we wont have any 200+ scores.

I think this will help us a whole lot, right now, they go for bad balls and get out. The random number will not matter on what ball it is, and the opposition bowler wont have any clue when he attacks.
