I do not agree (given the wicket behaves the same all day),
Our strength is batting because at present we only have 2 wicket taking bowlers (taskin and Shakib), while we play with 8 batsman. England is weak in terms of their bowling strength. Their batsman are capable of chasing any total.
So chasing would be a safer bet.

At this pitch? Because of rain the pitch was covered for almost two days and looks like it will go to three days as well. So just pray we win the toss and bowl first.

Given the weather and conditions, I would bowl First...Agree with Jadukor, as per history Bangladesh is not very good at handing high pressure games...(this is almost like a world cup final...almost). Batting first in these types of games can be disaster. Plus, I wouldn't take my chances with English Seamers in overcast conditions(as if they are playing at England, not Chittagong)

^^ If the pitch is moist then it would not be bad to field first keeping in mind that forecast says rain interruptions will occur with possibility of shortened match which will bring D/L coming into play.

If it's bright and sunny then bat first.
If it's cloudy/muggy then bowl first.

Mash has been taking wickets on consistent basis in every match.

One man who impressed me a lot in this tour is Adil Rashid. He bowled beautifully at times nicely changing it up and also last match almost Batted Bangladesh out of the game. I expect him to be even more lethal in the Test Match series.

^^ Jack Ball also bowled beautifully. His short pitched bowling was highly effective for obvious reason.

Rashid Khan (Afg) has more control of his bowling than Adil Rashid. I think Rashid Khan will be a wonderful Test match bowler if/when Afghanistan gets their Test status.

^ But I expected him to do greater damage given how weak our batsmen were against spin vs Afg and also the whole T20 World cup.

We have to win. Both games were winnable for us. We threw it away first game, but we held on to the win the second game. So I hope to be in a winnable position once again. Question is, can we convert it to a win like the 2nd game, or will throw it away again like the 1st game?

Adil did bowl a few Rubbish deliveries here and there, so batsmen thought they could go after him. I remember Adil getting a couple of wickets from his average deliveries as well. Yes, Jake Ball stuck to his elements and got success. Adil's and Jake Balls batting impressed me a lot.

What does Kayes have up his sleeve this time? I have to admit, I am expecting a six as soon as anything touches his bat. Just leave those bouncers alone, and shuffle some to discourage bowlers from bowling too much to the off side.

The touch he is in, I reckon he can get another century. He KNOWS his place is still not solidified, he KNOWS that if he wants to keep Soumya at bay, he will need another lethal knock to buy more playing time.

even if he gets out for a duck, He already got his ticket to NZ barring injury...but you are right, I think he has more to prove since Bangladesh has invested in him for quite a long time(just like how Bangladesh invested in Riyad), I think it's time it should pay off...

a simple 50+ innings would seal the deal for him but when an opener gets a fifty you would expect them to convert it to something bigger.

Both Tamim and Mushfique are due a big daddy score. If rain stays away (which is highly unlikely) then it will be cracker of a match and we will win this IA.

KaEdge has an average more than 42 opening the batting with Tamim in ODIs in last couple of years.

Looks impossible for a match to take place...maybe we can witness the event where a team score 0 runs; then match is called off.
