Shakib lost the battle with Papon. KKR requested both Shakib and Liton to let them hire other foreign recruits in their places. To maintain his good relationship with KKR, Shakib agreed. So, Shakib will be replaced by another foreigner for the entire IPL season.

Liton, however, holding KKR to the contract, he still wants to play whenever possible.

Yes I was surprised to read shakib opted out but now I see you saying it was requested by the franchise.

Liton would have gotten a chance if he was available from the beginning.. now not sure . He is a much better (stable) opener thab gurbaiz. I still wanna see him play.

Terrible employer from both sides ..bcb and kkr.

I guess BCB really does not want to lose a test match against IRE. Not sure one can really blame them as Bangladesh have done absolutely squat when it comes to Test Cricket. Even with full strength team we lose against likes of Zim and Afg.

After the last match, there is little chance that KKR will bench Gurbaz. They now enlisted Jason Roy (in Shakib's place) as well. It may be better for Liton to cancel his contract with KKR, and play for Abahani in DPL.

Fizz playing for Delhi Capitals today. Right now.. Good luck. DC has a pretty out of form batting order and a mess but warner holding it together.

Fizz is no where near as good as he used to be and I doubt he will be picked in the IPL.

His career has gone in reverse, starting off like a bowler having so much control like a veteran and now ending it like a newbie with poor control.

Fizz was average during last game, he has become too much predictable (two dimensionals bowler). Taskin is a much better bowler nowadays

He was given another chance I guess because of some good bowling but he is now an embarrassment.

Can't bowl can't bat can't field. And taking a foreign quota .

Yes he did bowled two good overs during last match, but today he was awful.
Can't blame Delhi if he is never picked again.

Mustafizur's career is a shame, he had incredible talent but maybe he lacked work ethics / organization / mental preparation / desire to improve.

He has lost his Fizz. Typical Bangladeshi professionalism after getting initial success it’s downward hill from there

Hope the failures will motivate Mustafiz to develop better work ethics. Unless he can put some good shows during World Cup, no IPL team will call him back next season.

Come on. Though for kkr it seems bowling is more of an issue than batting ..

They should take out Russell gurbaiz and put both Roy and liton. And get some extra indian bowler

Mustafizur doesn’t have that edge any more needless to say. But his body language looks so lacklustre and he doesn’t care of how he bowls.

He has made all his money and claimed the fame for a village boy. Don’t think there is anything to motivate him.

Come on liton. Apparently wicket keeping was not so great either.

He is much better than this. Take ur time ...he becomes stupid when he thinks needs to hit out everyball..

His natural game is 130 strike rate. Remove unnecessary stress.

Roy liton pair should be the backbone of their batting...so Andre can hit out towards end

Fun fact: there is only two BD player who played more than one IPL match and all of below happened to both of the players

*Won IPL in their debut season
*Played for more than one IPL season
*Played for more than one franchise
*Played more than 50 IPL matches

So it looks like if you can go past the debut match curse you do decent in IPL if you are from Bangladesh
