I agree his ability playing both side was a handicap which still could fetch 100 against India in Asia Cup, but today he was a 320 degree player except those cute shots Mushfiqur loves to play, about which I am actually glad he never tries.

Don't get why we don't see threads like this for Mehidy, Mithun,Mosaddek who have very obviously been much worser players.

He should only be batting in the top 4 in LOI. Should be given opening whenever possible. In T20 maybe he can bat at 4 to balance few things, Soumya at 3.

Congrats to Liton Das, he finally took his avg past 30.
I still think he needs to improve on his timing. Hope he doesn't panic seeing Shaheen Afridi or Naseem Shah.

You speak of them as if they are the reincarnation of W. Akram and W. Younis ...

We don't play that many games in a calendar year like some other teams. All I hope he end up getting the highest run getter in a calendar year in the world.

Let’s not forget that this was a World Cricket League Dickson 3 quality attack on a flat pitch and tiny ground. 120k beamers and half trackers with no swing or seam...you won’t ever find a more innocuous attack.

Very good. In 1987 September, he would have the highest score in ODI till then. The following month, Viv Richards got 181.

Mithun and Mehidy DO NOT possess the same batting pedigree as Litton. Not even close so I do not expect it from them.
As for Mosaddek, he is doing fine for his role but he is certainly not a no. 7 in my book. If he played at 5 I believe he would do much better.
