twenty20 cricket
Needless to say, Bangladeshs batting has always been a matter of high concern. Besides employing specialist batting coach, can't we introduce twenty20 cricket. The reason I say that is I feel that they are still playing in a very defensive mode hence not being able to exploit the powerplays. But if they grow a habit of playing twenty20 cricket they might improve. It miight enable them to play srokes at the right , choose the right ball for playing strokes and in the proccess gain a better batting skill.
Do u support the idea?

nah...our RR has sky rocketed in the last year or so.
in tests, it would average 2.5-2.7 RPO, but now it is around 4 RPO.
in ODIs it used to be around 3 RPO max in the first 40 overs, now it is a more respectable 4.
bottom line is, we have stroke players who can always score fast. ash, aftab, abir can all play shots.
we need the temperament to last 5 days in tests.

its not a good idea at all... our players cant even play whole 50 overs nowadays and twenty-twenty is only going to make it worse. For example, last years corporate twenty-twenty was a total flop and didnt help at all.

I am not too sure whether we should rely on just one experiment.

The reason why they can't even survive for the whole 50 overs is the lack of their skill to chose the right ball for playing strokes. Twenty20 should fill that gap.

how is it going to fill that gap? In twenty twenty, they only going to have twenty overs to bat and they will go for any shots for run. It will only going to make things worse. Right now, what they need is patience, temperament and application and twenty twenty cant provide us with that.

If bd introduces 20/20 to our national players, then in test matches, we will be all out in less than 20 overs. That would finish the game in two sessions. I hope and pray may the BD think-tank don't even dream about 20/20.
By the way, to take advantage of powerplay, 20/20 matches are not required. In 20/20 there is no fielding restriction, and batsmen become sloggers regardless of quality balls.

This will be suicidal decision .We need to focus on staying in the crease and
score. So instead of introducing 20/20 we may need a 200/200.
