Thanks Offstump for the thread Makes it much easier than to look for it on the web

England: I think most are obvious choices. There might be some controversies over Huddlestone-Parker for some other players but the main XI should be this-
----------James----------
Johnson-Terry-Ferdinand-A. Cole
----------Barry-----------
Joe Cole-Gerrard-Lennon
----------Lampard-------
----------Rooney---------

The only significant player missing from the preliminary squad is Beckham and Agbanlahore from what I believe.

EDIT: Also A.Young should have surely been in the team. He would have made my first XI instead of J.Cole (Cole is wayy off form). But is Young injured though?

France: Nasri and Benzema should have been in. Anyways, France doesnt have a chance anyways. BTW, Ribery is a winger. They have decided to take an unexeperienced young team. Bad for them. Also Sebastian Frey would have been my choice for goalie. This should be the main XI-

---------Lloris--------
Sagna/Clichy-Gallas-Abidal/Squillaci-Evra/Abidal/Clichy
---L. Diarra-Toulalan/Diaby---
Malouda-----------------Ribery
--Nicky Anelka-Henry--

Brazil: Maybe Ronaldinho should have been included, even though I doubt he would have made the first XI, also Adriano. Diego should have surely been in. Also Bordon who is better than Bastos. Bad choices. First XI would be easy to pick though-

-------Julio Cesar-------
Maicon-Lucio-Juan-Dani Alves
-------Gilberto Silva---------
------Kaka-Elano---------
Robinho-----Luis Fabiano-----Julio Baptista

Neds: A hell lot of new players. With a great attack but bad defense. Van Nistelrooy wont be missed much because they have other forwards. But Van Der Sar will be very much missed. First XI-

----Stekelenberg-----
All the defenders are crap.
-------Van Bommel---------
---Sneijder-----Van Der Vaart---
Robben----Van Persie----Babel/Kuyt

Italy: Good team. But players Like Totti, Nesta, Materazzi, Del Piero should have had their last WC chance. Their offence will have a bit of trouble with their unability to attack from the wings. Also where is Cassano and Aquilani? Main XI-

------------Buffon----------
Zambrotta-Cannavaro-Chiellini-Grosso
------De Rossi-Pirlo-Gattuso-----
Camoranesi--------------Rossi
----------Di Natale--------

Portugal: Bosingwa's injury will affect them a lot. Maniche should have been included too. Others are obvious choices. Also I was expecting to see Quaresma very much. Main XI-

---------Eduardo-----------
Paulo Ferreira-Carvalho-Pepe-Miguel
------Miguel Veloso--------
--------Deco-----------
Simao---C. Ronaldo---Nani
-------Hugo Almeida------

Germany: Adler should have been there instead of Butt. Enke will be missed ALso I would have preferred G. Castro. I will miss Schneider and Frings too Otherwise good call-up. Main XI-

--------Neuer--------
Lahm-Mertesacker-Friedrich-Jansen
--------Trochowski--------
----Schweinsteiger-Ballack----
Gomez-Klose-Podolski

Well it does make sense. But I think they should rather go with 4-4-2 because Carrick is out of form and Huddlestone is very unexperienced so there wont be any replacements for Barry. Bent or Defoe can play in the forwards with Rooney.

Spain: The strongest team (as in the team with the best players) in the WC in my opinion. But I was looking forward to seeing Joaquin. They have also picked their best players available. The main XI will be hard to pick-

-----Casillas------
--Ramos-Puyol-Marchena--
--Fabregas-Iniesta-Xavi/Senna--
Navas--------------Silva/Alonso
-----Villa--Torres/Silva-----

Australia: Kewell's injury will really hurt them. But they have picked the best aailable squad. Main XI-

-----Schwarzer------
Neill-Wilkshire-Milligan-Chipperfield
------Valeri----
Emerton--Cahill--Kewell
----Bresciano--McDonald---

Ivory Coast: They have a promising team. But Erikson as the manager I dont see them going too far. Drogba will be the main man for sure. No surprising picks. Main XI-

---Barry---
Eboue-Toure-Boka
---Zokora-Y. Toure---
---Romaric-K. Keita---
Kalou-Drogba-Kone

I have skipped a few teams in the middle since I dont know much about those teams.

Japan: The team I have the most hope in from Asia.

------Kawaguchi-----
Nakazawa--tanaka--Komano
----Endo-K.Nakamura-----
S.Nakamura-Honda-Hasebe
----Okazaki-Morimoto----

USA: Other than Charlie Davis and Brad Davis, the other ones are good picks.

Uruguay: Great picks. This team has the ability to go quite far. I am hoping for some good Forlan magic. I was expecting to see S. Viera, Manuel Diaz and C. Rodriguez. Sad that they are not there. Main XI still very strong-

Argentina: The worst picks. I dont know how they wish to win the world cup with this team. They dropped their best captain, Zanetti Really sad. And Cambiasso>Mascherano. Also I will miss Riquelme People that should have been in-
Person out-Person in
Diego Pozo-Abbondanzieri
Nicolas Otamendi- Zanetti
Juan Manuel Insaurralde- I. Insua
Ariel Garce- D. Diaz
Jesus Datolo-Aimar
Juan Mercier-Gago
Javier Pastore-Cambiasso
Mario Bolatti- Lucho Gonzalez
Ezequiel Lavezzi- L. Lopez

I am dissapointed. But what would you expect from a drug addict anyways Main XI-
-----Romero-----
Samuel-Demichellis-Burdisso/Coloccini-Heinze/Coloccini
----Mascherano-Veron----
Messi--------------Aguero
------Tevez--Milito/Higuain
