Just a thread to for miscellaneous women's cricket going on.

Watching the England -SA game going on right now.

This is the same SA team that blanked the BD women's team a couple of weeks ago. Their bowling is ordinary

How about them world record maker New Zealand women's team?
NZ women scored 490 in the first ODI against Ireland women in the current running series.
It is the highest ODI score ever, for both men and women! It's a huge deal! Well done team NZ. Beat Ireland by over 300 runs.

Then in the 2nd ODI, NZ scored 418 and beat Ireland women (all out at 115, I think) by over 300 runs again.

100 up for SA with no wickets down. Problem is that it's the 23rd over.

They need to take on the required run rate.

Lizelle Lee just struck a six....

and another, back to back. this one went out of the ground!

^ Did any team ever scored back to back 400+ in 2 games? That should be another record.

Lizelle Lee is 77(80)
Her partner Wolvaardt is 29 (56)

They need 219 from 162 balls with all 10 wickets in hand

This is a wonderful inning from Lee.

First SA woman to score a century against England. It is an entertaining knock so far, job is not over yet.

She's currently on 101 (91)

They need 192 from 150 balls with all 10 wickets remaining

1st one down for SA. Wolvaardt goes for a sluggish 32(62)

Sune Luus comes in, she looks like a Chinese/Thai (Maybe I'm exaggerating).

Luus didn't spend long. Shrubsole (remember her from last year WC final) takes the wicket

SA need 177 from 129 balls

Today was a historic day in women's cricket. A 21-year old record got shattered. The highest individual score in an ODI:

Yes, aklemalp bhaiya, very right you are...NZ women are devastating batters! Breaking records left right and center on this tour of Ireland. Unfortunately IRE women are getting the major beating and thrashing.

Again in the 3rd ODI against IRE women, NZ scored 400+ and beat IRE by 300+ runs...3 matches in a row...that itself is a world record.

So far NZ Women Tour of IRE, May/June 2018

1st ODI Dublin, Jun 8 2018
NZ Women - 490/4 (50 Overs, RR: 9.8) ODI World record - Individual team score (men and women's all ODIs)
IRE Women - 144 all out (35.3 Overs, RR: 4.05)
NZ beats IRE by 346 runs
Suzie Bates (NZ) 151
Maddy Green (NZ) 121
Amelia Kerr (NZ) 81* A Kerr is only 17 years old!
Leigh Kasperek (NZ) bowled 2.3 overs for 17 runs and took 4 wickets

2nd ODI Dublin, Jun 10 2018
NZ Women - 418 all out (49.5 Overs, RR: 8.38)
IRE Women - 112 all out (35.3 Overs, RR: 3.15)
NZ beats IRE by 308 runs
Sophie Devine (NZ) 108
Lara Maritz (IRE) Bowled 8.5 overs, took 4 wickets for 58 runs

3rd ODI Dublin, Jun 13 2018
NZ Women - 440/3 (50 Overs, RR: 8.8)
IRE Women - 135 all out (44 Overs, RR: 3.06)
NZ beats IRE by 305 runs
Amelia Kerr (NZ) 232* (world Record) AND she bowled 7 overs, for 1 maiden, gave 17 runs and took 5 wickets!
Leigh Kasperek (NZ) 113

Series result
New Zealand Women won the 3-match series 3-0

Only T20I Dublin, Jun 6 2018
IRE Women - 136/8 (20 Overs, RR: 6.8)
NZ Women - 142/0 (11 Overs, RR: 12.9)
NZ beats IRE by 10 wickets with 54 balls remaining
Gaby Lewis (IRE) 61
Leigh Kasperek (NZ) bowled 4 overs for 25 runs and took 3 wickets
Suzie Bates (NZ) 63*
Jess Watkin (NZ) 77*

Series result
New Zealand Women won the single match series 1-0

I saw on Cricinfo headline that she napped in between innings

Each player gets flat, land, car, whatever while the ladies team receives a micro-bus as a replacement for their transport vehicle which was an older bus earlier.

Beaumont on 80* off 38 balls

A century in the way for her, and it's only the 11th over

Yesterday their men's team crashed the ODI record, today they crashed the T20 which was also achieved today by NZ women's team.

SA women's conceded 2 World records today

1st was Suzie Bates with her 124*(66) to get the world record for NZ- 216/1

Then Tammy Beaumont for England with her 116 (52) that was a major part for her team breaking that 216; they bettered it by 34 runs -250/3

A world record was broken twice in a single day.

England are powerhouses.

A team like SA made to look like minnows against Suzie Bates and the Kiwis team, and then by Beaumont and the English team.

This same SA team which whitewashed BD women a couple of months ago.

Exciting to follow
