Currently I will pick Soumya over Dhawan because SS is a great fielder.

Saw the last game. Fiz didn't bowl that good, it's the wicket had green on it hence his main weapon the cutters won't be much affective. What Fiz needs is a wickets other than green really. Still did ok, produced a nice yoker ish ball, to get the much hyped Hardik out.

Mahmudullah was the most under rated, under appreciated player in the history of Bangladesh.

Which Indians rate him? I have said it multiple times before, never rated him more than a decent cricketer and that no.1 all rounder is an anomaly. It only shows dearth of current all rounders. In test cricket I consider Ashwin as a better all rounder than Shakib.

The only player from BD we really respect and is true class is Mustafizur. Remove him, your team have zeor match winners.

BTW, I was one Of those crazy fans that went crazy when SHAKIB used to get dropped by KKR, I use to bash KKR on Twitter etc. With time, I found out not a lot of people/management think really high of him, at most he is a decent player, but his not in the same level as Shane Watson or Kallis type All Rounder.

This is the first time I would agree with you. Mustafizur is the first world class player to come out of Bangladesh

Watson and Kallis are capable of scoring a century on any given day....when was the last time Shakib made a century?

Yes. Shakib is the worst player ever. How does he even make the BD national team. He isn't even good enough for the Chandpur Village League. His bowling is ordinary. His batting is ordinary. Only a computer error resulted in him being the No.1 all rounder across formats for multiple years. Overrated. Needs to go. ASAP.

no doubt about the class and skills of Mustafizur.

but anyone who is questioning shakib and his contribution needs a refresher. yes he is going through a slump in form but shakib was the bd cricket from 2008-2014. that's consistent performance for over 6 years. and it has been only a year or so for Fizz.

I don't care what rest of the world (Indians, Ugandans, Mongolians) thinks of Shakib. I care about what he did for the BD team when it was absolute filth to watch and root for.

Don't worry, he's usually scoring centuries at Tests and ODIs. He has the champions trophy next year to redeem himself just like Gayle, Pollard and co. Wait...what? WI aren't in the champions trophy? How did that happen?

^No, mufi, you are wrong. He is the worst player to have come out of Bangladesh. Period.

And what Indians think of Shakib is of the utmost importance. Indians have the best opinions. They are geniuses. I admire their supreme intelligence. So should you.

Shakib is a clutch player, plays really well in clutch situations hence he is the #1 all-rounder in world cricket. Cricket Pundits from all over the world rate him for his clutch contributions be it with bat, ball or fielding. enough said.

We don't need to get riled up just 'cause some random person in internet doesn't give credit to where it is due. Of the few wins Bangladesh has over India, Shakib has had major contributions in almost all of them, he has done it before and he can probably do it again.

Sir Ash did more service to Bangladesh in world events than The Heroic Shakib Al Hasan.
