So, is Rubel playing tomorrow or not? Only thing I care atm tbh.
With him in some red hot form, it would be a crime to not let him play.

Ian point is not happy with bd fast bowling..indirectly pointing fingers to C Walsh.
Details below*****
Iam Point
"Feel really disappointed to see the #Bangladesh fast bowling legacy being squandered at the moment. Worked hard to get it started when I inherited virtually nothing and only had 6 months. Heath Streak was good enough to carry on the great work over a longer time with more quicks to work with.... And now?
The fast bowling talent has NEVER been better thanks to all that early work and it would be hard to mess this up now.
So I think it's important for the BCB not to lose sight of how to develop the quicks correctly. There's a real danger it might continue going backwards, since Heath's departure. There is some good talent available that needs correct coaching. It would be criminal not to fully bring that through."

On FB. Saw it too.
Is he trying to say He made Fizz and Taskin? Ffs, he can only take a bit of credit for Rubel and that's it. It's been 5 years he was our bowling coach Nd the bowlerz he worked with sucked big time apart from Rubel. Seriously abnormal person.
Under him, our seamers did well vs NZ series and sucked big time in the WC back in 2011.
Seems like getting sacked via Twitter from a PSL team destroyed his brain cells. Poor fella.

WTF!? What did he have to do with Taskin!? He had Shafiul and Rubel to work with! It was Streak who made Mash, Rubel, Taskin, Al-Amin into stars! Then came Fizz on his own. No one should taking credit for Fizz except for the guy who may as well have ruined his action!
He complained like a little b!tch on twitter when Streak would walk the boundary and chat with the bowlers.
Just a complete hag!

That sucks. Will miss him, his batting.
Hope that Nurul can perform in the role he is assigned.

Would've preferred Anamul over Sohan. Easily.
Sohan's keeping is fine though.

Picking Sohan over Anamul is like picking a Maruti Suzuki over a Chamero

Anamul is more like Nissan. It's okay, but you'd be better off with a Toyota if you're looking in that category.

Don't insult Nissan by comparing with Ananmul...
Anamul is Tata motors

Yup Anamul is an old Camero which I would take over Sohan any day.
Mushy in that sense would be like a BMW.
De kock and buttler would be Lamborghini

That's what I'd do. A bit drastic, but what the hey.

- Tamim

- Momin/SS
- Riyad
- Shakib
- Sabbir
- Moss
- Mash
- Rubel
- Fizz
- Taskin
It's easier (in comparison) to open when you're new than having to come at the end and accelerate from ball 1. I hope Nurul opens.
Also, we have ZERO backup batsman. NONE. They even sent back Maruf. Squad is stocked with bowlers, yet we played with a bowler short last game.

not gonna happen but this is how I would deal with 2nd ODI
Tamim
Imrul
Shabbir
Shakib
Riyad
Mosaddek
Sohan
Miraz
Mashrafe
Rubel
Fizz
Change of mind, apparently its a slower wicket, so I would take Miraz in, they do have a few lefties. Because Mushy is out, cant have Riyad bat that high as we need some backup towards the middle order. Shabbir played no.3 before and these days he cant attack from the word go... so throw him under the bus. If he clicks, he will set the tempo on these smaller grounds. Mosaddek being the better batsman goes ahead of Sohan any day. Riyad has been the best finisher in T20s so I can trust him with the finishers role. Miraz may not contribute a little with the bat but prolly to a losing cause...
and please, its one of the smallest grounds, Taskin would get Taskineddd there. Take Rubel in!

Nurul is absolutely useless. Another idiot who's getting a free ride. Every series there's a a passenger.
