We need to change our negative defeatist mindset, instead of thinking how these two eat us alive the players should be thinking how to destroy their bowling and expose them. I just hope the Bangladesh players don't lack in self belief as much, imo it's lack of belief that hurts our cricket the most. Thinking we can never win a match outside Bangladesh etc.

We have beaten teams much stronger than Afghanistan before multiple times, if we play well we should beat them, it's a team sport after all.

Just play out Rashid and Mujeeb. As leggies, they will bowl at least 2-3 bad deliveries in their spell. Capitalize on that and singles on the other deliveries. As long as our batsmen dont premeditate too much, they will be ok. Go after all the other bowlers.

I remember when saeed ajmal was at his chucking best there was a thread before Pak series called ajmal will eat us alive. the result was different, ajmal didn't eat us alive, rather we played ajmal pretty well. we fell to then unknown SLA abdur rahman.

This is indeed the key. Our batsmen often get out attempting premeditated shots.

Mujeeb is not great, great googly, but apart from that he pretty much bowls straight

Rashid Khan, excellent googly and accuracy, great bowler, his leg spinner barely turns though

They have to play straight and understand a combined 45 runs from their 8 is good enough, as long as you limit it to a wicket or two at worst

That was the match where their batting killed us. It showed the importance of Heath Streak as our fast bowling coach.

Sometimes they can get overconfident too. I remember after beating us in Asia Cup ODI, they came out all guns blazing in Asia Cup T20. And we beat them by 9 wickets.
