to set a standard for victory=> translation: if you can't beat a computer, you really suck at this game

for those unfortunate players who consistently lose but has been following/building up a good team chemistry accounting for talent/ability...it is to make them feel better.

it is possible to lose to a computer! get a team combination of worst players!

another reason: is to bring about a "Balance" so every league has at least 2 computer players so that league doesn't become so competetive that you feel like you do everything right and still lose!

My god nadim, you produce one of the worst pitches. My batsman can't score at all.

My batting is doing well again. I am in a One Day league match vs. Cyberbangla and I am currently at 92/0 after 13 overs. Nawab is on 38* and Foster is on 52*.

in the game rules it is stated that sometimes, a lower ranked team will beat a higher ranked one. there is a factor called "Luck" which is part of the match engine not factored towards Ratings...

look, a team which may be better than you has a *higher chance* of victory...it is all computerized into some random probablility formula...*chance of a yorker triggering* chance of this..that! i hope you get the gist.

i think they did a pretty good job at making the game as realistic as possible. but i am hoping for a better game in which the user himself can bat bowl or field that woiuld be sick

too bad, those games are called Brian Lara/Ricky Ponting Cricket international game only available in PlayStation etc... and if someone produces those types of games for free...then the original PlayStation producers will lose money.

I dunno why, but I actually like managing better than playing. Like I played cricket 07, but I liked the international cricket captain series much better, probably cause Im a stats buff, but who knows....I like this tolo, although I must say, being broke all the time is annoying.

just made a deal with a guy in my friendly league that I will use a super weak squad against him and he will bid for a player I'm selling (the amount I'm selling him for is expensive for his skills).I'm going to lose the friendly league anyway,so getting more finacial option is better than just winning a game but losing the league.
