NEVER going to support a team known for the infamous Escobar incident, a land known and well portrayed, RIGHTFULLY SO, rife with drug cartels and scopolopamine, the oft-glorified date rape drug, by the current yuppie generation of Scholastica and Green Harr ld.

The only positive Brazil can take out of the match is the fact that they dealt with the pressure, and managed to come out on top. Of course that's what matters the most in the end. But I'm sure they're going to have to make some serious tactical adjustments against the overall flair of Colombia and the exquisite finishing of James Rodriguez.
Julio Cesar and Gustavo were Brazil's best players other than the hard working and relentless Hulk. Hulk made some pacy, penetrating runs and took some good shots on goal but all of them were well within an alert Bravo's range. When he did score, the blind referee disallowed it. None of the 50-50 calls went Brazil's way.
Chile's Sanchez, not Neymar or Oscar was the best offensive player on the field. Oscar was totally ineffective as was Fred. The guys who came in for them didn't fare any better, thanks to Chile's close and steady man-to-man marking and double, even triple teaming of top Brazilian threats. Makes you wonder about the wisdom of keeping Robinho and Kaka out of the Selecao, when guys like Jo and Willian were so effectively contained by the Chileno midfield and defense. With Gustavo suspended for the quarterfinal against Colombia, someone like Kaka would've been the solution. Luiz had a particularly horrible game, almost as bad as the European referee's.
They'll lose to Colombia for sure if they repeat yesterday's performance, but they won't. I remain optimistic because if any team can learn from an experience and make the necessary adjustments to get better, it is Brazil.

^i thought marcelo played really well.
Winning confederation cup has ****ed everything. Dumbass Scolari thought he can repeat that with the same bunch of player. Its really hard to support this brasil team. Jo,fred our main strikers! Hulk really must have did something with scolari in private.I dont know when the last time he played well for brasil, but this guy never looses his spot in XI no matter what let alone out of the squad. The only good replacement brasil has on the bench is bernard yet scolari used him only for 10 min. To sum up,Scolari ****ed up this team. Just imagine we are trailing a game by 1 goal. What substitute scolari will bring on to change the game? A Defensive mid ramires, A mediocore cm willian, one pathietic striker for another or if somehow he remembers he will bring bernard for the last 5 or 6 min. That tells everything.

Marcelo did play well. Alves did too towards the end when overlapping became too risky.

What's wrong with Neymar's left foot? Did he get hurt? He kept trying to cut into his right to get the shot off his right foot even if it meant going into double or tripple coverage. This is a very bad sign for Brazil. Is Jo really the best threat we have coming off the bench. I couldn't believe he missed that one easy chance and he kept falling over. Zero real threat what so ever.
