I was as big of a fan of Nasir as anyone, and backed him the longest. But he is a lost cause, and has done nothing with his immense talent. Move on. Besides, Mithun and Saiiffudin has locked down their spot for the lower middle orders.

Nasir has stiff competition between Miraz Saif and Sabbir.

Nobody but Nasir himself is 100% responsible for destroying his own career. Lets not play victim game hare, its not going to work.

He is still young an he has shown in the past that he has the talent. Now does he still have the hunger to work hard hand make a case for him for future opportunity? That's the real question.

Most of the youngerster becomes side tracked after making an some initial performances. There is no strong culture for professionalism and no self discipline among the youngsters. BD players are not physically well built which is why they have to keep on working hard. And now with easy money from BPL they can just chill.

Nasir could have been a decent all rounder but he is one of the worst cases of failures.

Ppl wrote the same BS when I posted sabbir and taskin will return to the national team.

they did. And sabbir killed it. Shut everyone up.

Nasir will return too in full form, against the wish of everyone here and everyone will talk all the gobor they want and he will perform and shut everyone up.

The same happened with rubel during his “crisis” and then he took the bails off the English team and everyone shut the f up

Calling him a model is hilarious. That’s like calling a cat a Tiger

It's not about the potential and talent you possess, but what you can deliver.
Nasir can deliver jack and thus he's become history.

You really defending a guy who made a century when there was no pressure to win the match anymore. This innings kinda reminded me of Junaid Siddiques innings against pakistan where they scored masively, and JS played the most selfish innings I have seen to get a 100. Fortunetly, destiny didn't let him get to that landmark and got out in the 90's.

Had Sabbir's 100 impacted in a win, wohoo, we would been prasing him. However, his century was meaningless, only to cement his own spot for the WC. Take Sharkar for example, scored only around 20's but the intent of kill was right there. Crappy performer, intent was there. Sabbir's intent to win the match was not there bud. So who did he shut up?

It wasn’t satisfying to watch. In fact the whole series feels like it needs to come to an end.

But if he didn’t score that hundred, the criticism would be far greater. Because

A) he wasn’t supposed to be there in the first place
B) people hate him for various reasons

But no, it wasn’t a happy moment for me, it was mild..... consolation.

Like ice cream after you failed a final exam.

Nasir is out of contention for this year's World Cup due to lack of runs and fitness. Only 212 runs in 7 games with a best score of 76. His injury impacted his performance b/c before he got injured he scored a century

While I agree with the the argument that there shouldn't be much experiment done in a tournament like WC, in the past we have seen Soumya playing only one ODI vs Zimbabwe before getting a chance to play in the WC. Why the inconsistency? I still feel there should be one newbie like Yasir in the squad.

Wow you must have woke up on the right side of bed to come out with that gem. 100/100

On a serious note, would love a comeback story.

I like good comeback stories. Like rubel in the last World Cup
