Default Afghanistan-Pakistan fans fighting at the stadium

https://www.bbc.com/sport/cricket/48812583

Quote:
Action will be taken to punish fans involved in "scuffles" at the World Cup match between Pakistan and Afghanistan at Headingley, says the International Cricket Council.

Videos on social media showed fans clashing outside the ground and a group trying to break through the gates between the main road and the ground in Leeds.

Fans were also seen jumping over the fence that surrounds the ground and gaining access to the concourse behind the Western Terrace.

An ICC spokesperson said they were aware of "some scuffles among a minority of fans".

It was also reported that there were "physical clashes" in the stands, which led to some being evicted from the stadium.

"We are currently working with the venue security team and local police force to ensure there are no further incidents," the spokesperson added.

"We do not condone this type of behaviour, and will take appropriate action against any anti-social behaviour that spoils the enjoyment for the majority of fans."

West Yorkshire Police police said they were called to "reports of some trouble outside the ground linked to people trying to get in".

"Officers attended to disperse the group without any issues and remained on patrol in the area," a statement added.

Afghans yet to learn how to react after losing. During Bangladesh match at Southampton, stand where we were seating was getting a bit erratic with Afghanistan fans kicking front chairs when they were collapsing without realising there are people seating on those chairs. Security got involved and it got under control but I had a feeling this would happen again. So far our fans has controlled themselves even though we enjoy a lot.

Well if you read the history of the subcontinent, you will read about the Gorkha,Punjabi, and Phathan soldiers. They were considered martial races and being good soldiers. British army loved those well built soliders. BUT, if you think deeply, you will see they were basically "bharatey" soldiers, serving their masters for money. It was the thin Bengali people, like Surya Sen, Titumir, Fakir Maznu Shah, Khudiram, Pritilata , who showed the "SHAHOSH" to force the British out. Don't forget the "Shahosh" of our people in 1971.

Most of these Afghan fans came here as refugees and need to be humble and know their place.
